The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Cambridge

Great Keg, awesome staff, solid menu. Good place for a date night or a family meal. We have never been disappointed at the Keg, and Cambridge is no exception. Our waiter Hunter was excellent and provided fantastic, customized service.

Great food and service

Just got back from a great birthday night at the keg! The food and service were amazing as always! The only thing were the amount of ants 🐜 we saw crawling all over our booths and the walls!!! Typically I wouldn’t be bothered by this situation but I also wasn’t on a picnic… just felt very unsettled throughout all of dinner.

Really nice time in a classy place.

They must bring back the vegan meatloaf. Yes, The Keg is a steakhouse however having more than 1 vegan main would be great for when The Keg is chosen for a meet up spot

We recently visited The Keg in Cambridge to celebrate my mom’s 50th birthday, and it was truly one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was calm, quiet, and relaxing—perfect for a special evening out.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Even when the kitchen ran out of one of the appetizers we initially ordered, the manager came to our table immediately to apologize. They went above and beyond by offering us a complimentary appetizer instead, which was a really thoughtful and appreciated gesture.

The service throughout the evening was top-notch, and the staff made sure our celebration felt special. It was my first time dining at The Keg, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I will 100% be going back—this place is a gem.

Highly recommend for any occasion. Five stars all the way!

The food and service was superb.

My husband and I went to the Keg last night to celebrate our anniversary and it was such a lovely experience! We had an amazing server, Brawn, who made the night flow seamlessly and never made us feel rushed despite it being a busy night with Mother’s Day celebrations. The food (blackened chicken and a steak) was gorgeous and cooked to perfection! Can’t say enough good things about our night and we’ll definitely be back for future celebrations.

My husband and I went to The Keg for dinner using a $50 gift card I received. We had made reservations, but still had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for our table. It was very busy so much so that the manager came by personally to apologize and made sure my alcoholic beverage was on the way, which I really appreciated.

The atmosphere was lively and loud, but we didn’t mind. It added to the energy of the evening. I started with a Caesar salad, and for my main, I ordered the oven-roasted honey mustard glazed salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini. The salmon and potatoes were great, but I didn’t like the broccolini. It tasted like it had been air-fried to a crisp and wasn’t really edible, in my opinion. I think Sautéed green beans with garlic would be a much better option, just my personal preference.

One highlight was the fresh bread and butter at the start of the meal, a nice and comforting touch. Overall, it was a good experience with a few small hiccups, and I’d consider coming back again.

Consonantly good 👍 every time we come to the Keg for dinner it is amazing! Great service, friendly staff. Delicious menu and features. Good selection of cocktails, wine and beer. Our last visit was May 5 2025 and its worth mentioning that all US wines were out of stock. But not to worry, Italian, Australian, French and of course our own Ontario wines are available 🍷🍷🍷.
Reservation is recommended, we didn't and the wait time was 40min . Didn't take that long, we enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited. The restaurant was busy! Happy to say that didn't affect the service.👍 We enjoyed the Neptune Mushrooms, fantastic Ribeye Steak 🥩, my husband had the prime rib (cooked just perfect, medium rare) and added a lobster tail 🦞. It was delicious 😋!!! It's a bit pricey but the portions are very generous. We like to come here a few times a year. Always the perfect meal! Lots of parking as this restaurant is in a mall plaza. Right off of Hwy 401, couldn't be easier to get to.

Don’t expect anything from the bar.
Waitress at the bar doesn’t seem familiar with the product they are serving, didn’t use jigger on making cocktails, a bit rude as well and I know it’s quite busy but shouldn’t be an excuse.

Charlotte our server was incredible from start to finish, so knowledgeable and attentive. James the bar manager had great wine recommendations and was super friendly! Great cocktail menu and food.

I went there with my kid around 4:30 and there was over an hour wait already. The greeter was annoyed I asked the wait time but maybe she was annoyed at the amount of people in the little waiting area. But I don’t think I’ll be going to the keg anytime soon to wait in line for a great tasting steak that is over priced!

Good experience other than 45min-1hour wait on a Saturday evening 5:30pm which is not the restaurants fault, the restaurant should be expanded to allow more dining area. Service was great, unfortunately just the side portions such as garlic mashed and vegetables on the steak dinners were pretty small, a table spoon of each which is pretty chinsy. For those prices, please at least fill the large empty plate up a bit. Very loud atmosphere.
