Hate to complain but was told the ice cream machine needed to be restarted and come back in 10 minutes. Waited 20 and came back and they said they’re no longer serving ice cream? Isn’t this an ice cream place? At the very least put a sign on the menu…

The food was terrible, the drink was warm burger and fries were not. Bun was a little stale. Service was slow and ordering was a terrible experience. Very unfortunate because I used to like DQs burgers n fries. 😢

So me and the lads where getting some food and we got ice cream and chicken, the chicken was cold and the ice cream was warm, not to mention that the fries that we got where like eating plastic, I would not recommend this place to anyone at all don’t go here

New management prices are really high and they have a policy against not having a bun on your hamburger…. They refuse to make a hamburger without a bun that seems like an opinion about people who eat gluten-free - Addendum they have picked up their game, now can have no bun.

I ordered a burger combo meal, with onion rings instead of fries, and a crispy chicken burger combo with a large drink. I had to repeat my order several times and finally someone else came and took it. When I got the order there was a grilled chicken burger instead of crispy but I ate it anyway, and it was very good, but not what I ordered. The onion rings were soft and had a fishy taste. After we left I wondered if I got short changed as it came out to over $33. I decided to check and figured I may as well mention the mix up with the chicken burger and fishy tasting rings. I received a reply from their corporate office apologizing and said they would forward my review to the Carleton Place branch for comment. I heard nothing, so after a month I wrote again. I got the same message and after another 2 weeks wrote them and said never mind, I'm done with Carleton Place and asked them to verify what the price should have been. They wrote back saying the price was correct and although they encourage their franchisees to respond, they can't force them to. Since Carleton Place chose to ignore me rather than just answer my question and give a simple apology, I thought it best to let people know not to expect much, if any, response from the Carleton Place branch.

This DQ used to be a must stop for quality food and treats. Whether it's new owners/management, their focus is no longer on quality in their food or service. I highly recommend any of the other fast food restaurants for food and the local ice cream shops for treats, much better quality at the same price point.

Everytime I come here my order is wrong; I came here today ordered chicken fingers they came tossed in BBQ sauce (ew) got an extra fry that I didn’t order yet was probably charged for. When I got home I called the restaurant to get the issue sorted out, the lady on the phone started screaming at her co-worker while I was on the phone, it was so bad I had to hang up. The issue was never sorted and she didn’t even say “sorry”. Save your money and go somewhere with customer service.

My meat was not cooked and I waited 35 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was my first time, I was so looking forward to going to eat there because there is no place on the edge of Quebec..
So 1 time and the last time!

Wonderful ice cream cakes by the new owners! Lots of nice designs. Found a perfect one for my daughter's birthday!

The place is DIRTY. The floors are black with dirt as soon as you walk in.
