I wish all coffee shops were as amazing as this! Horror-themed, delicious beverages/food, incredible service, fun events, and a welcoming atmosphere. This local business is downright spook-tacular!

Always stop in for something when I'm in town to visit my mom. Hot and Cold coffees are great and the skull muffins are tasty.
Staff is super nice and the celebrity guests have been an added bonus. Still waiting for a certain degrassi jr high member lol

Love this place so much!! Catherine and Michael are amazing, the staff are fantastic!! The food, drinks are so goooooood! Love the items that they sell, stop by you won't be disappointed!

This place is a 10 out of 10! amazing and unique, the atmosphere is cozy and creepy but in the best way!

There needs to be more locations of this place opened! The staff are so friendly and helpful plus the coffee menu has lots of variety such as many milk options and the ability to get most specialty drinks made sugar free!

The only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is the hours of operation. It closes too early (5pm) and it's closed on Mondays. Which makes me sad because I can never make it to this place in time after I'm finished with work to get some coffee.

Overall this place is excellent and I would recommend to anyone :)

I've always loved their coffee from day one. Their specialty drinks are lovely, but I love the surprise of the daily drip. I would highly recommend trying the flavour drip if it sounds of interest to you. some of my favorite drops have been Blueberry, Chocolate Raspberry, and chocolate, ect... I'm very much looking forward to trying more of their flavors.

Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy free milk options as well as coconut whipped cream, which is fantastic!

Parking: Large parking lot

Kid-friendliness: Spacious (lots of room for 1 or more strollers), Quite space, a good changing pad in the bathroom, friendly staff, they offer board games for older kids, but I've had plenty of friends bring their toddlers and have a fantastic experience.

Awesome independent coffee place with a horror theme. The drinks and snacks we had were excellent and the atmosphere is great, with tons of cool items to look at while you're there. Everyone is super friendly and personable and they often host events, especially around Halloween.

Somewhere you should absolutely go try if you're in Carleton Place!

Deadly Grounds is one of the coolest cafes i’ve ever been to - they have amazing drinks, any flavour you can think of, lovely bakery items and yummy sandwiches. the staff is AMAZING, so customer service focused and so kind. they really are a one of a kind group and one of a kind cafe - can’t wait to go back again soon!!
