After a long "holiday" and travel, we were exhausted and stumbled in on a desperate mission for anything to fill our stomachs. What we got was an affordable, unexpected delight that was the Bollywood pizza. With a TOUCH of the garlic sauce, my gosh. It's fantastic. We wanted to try the butter chicken poutine as well, but they had sadly run out of their homemade butter chicken sauce. Given how good the first thing we had was, it's worth a return visit. It's definitely worth a trip to Carleton Place for a unique treat.

I witnessed this Young mom with three disabled kids and a teenage helper all had their meal taken care of thanks to the Generosity of Roop owners of eataria
He even has a sign in the window that offer the free meal .,never seen this before wow

We tried Tandoori chicken poutine and Bombay shawrma platter, both were so good. The marination of chicken reminded me the same we get in Kerala,India. Would definitely recommend it. Next time we are thinking to try Bollywood pizza.

Eataria has a Classic Diner appeal, with Roop introducing his amazing flavors of India. The Tandoori and Buttered Chicken was Grrrrreat, some of the best i have ever had. Good Solid Comfort Food. Destiny was our server, and even in the heat of a dinner time rush, she was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Overall a Fabulous dining experirnce in the heart of Historic Carleton Place. Wow is all I can say. Food is an amazing. Roop is so nice and friendly. A must try. My boyfriend has tried many places to try spicy food and no one has ever been able to make him something to satisfy his spiciness level. Roop did!!!! He went above and beyond to make him something as my bf can definitely handle his spice. So accommodating. Our new favorite restaurant.

Tucked in among a plethora of businesses on Bridge street one might assume Eataria is a pizza joint but wait there’s more. Upon entering you will be greeted with a smile and a start with coffee? We searched the menu and whoop There it is “all day breakfast” $12.95 and wow everything was exactly how I like it eggs were perfect,crispy bacon on point, potatoes that taste like potatoes go figure, endless coffee. If you want a great breakfast and be treated like you are appreciated try this restaurant. I’m going back to try the pizza next time.

Had such a great lunch here last week that we decided to treat ourselves once again. This time we had a large butter chicken poutine and a club sandwich.My hubby said it was the best butter chicken poutine he has ever had and he is very picky.The club sandwich was fresh and delicious, however it appears to be similar to a chicken salad rather than a sliced chicken breast. I do prefer sliced chicken but again it was very tasty.The added bonus about this place his the owner and his cook. They are so welcoming and interested in building a great business. They are kind beyond words and a fabulous addition to this community.We definitely will be back?❤️Cindy & David McKiver
