**I am updating my review as the owner reached out to me and explained what had happened. He apologized and offered a gift card as compensation. Today my wife, step-son, and I finally got a chance to eat some of their tacos. It was delicious! We really quite enjoyed everything and will be going back again soon :)
My wife and I were excited to get some tacos. As it was a Sunday, we called to make sure they were open. Nick answered the phone and said they were open until 3. It was 1:25, so I headed out. Got here at 1:50 and it's closed. I tried calling and now they aren't answering their phone.
I can appreciate Sunday being slower and not warranting being open late, but to say they would be open and then decide to close early half an hour later without notice I feel is unreasonable. They vould have mentioned when I called that they planning on closing soon or that 3 was a best estimate. This is not the customer service that other reviewers talked about.

This taco truck is unreal. The portions are massive, the flavors are explosive and the service was exceptional. I had the pork taco, shrimp taco and a Mexican street corn salad. I could barely finish the tacos because they were massive. The aioli is out of this world. Can't wait to go back to this food truck again and again!

Really quick servic, incredible food, perfect prices in relation to the amount of food you get. I'm Celiac and DF, so I was absolutely delighted to find a semi-local food truck to try. It was well worth the drive from Ottawa and we'll definitely be back.
I got a mix of the bean and smoked chicken tacos. The jalapeno bits on top were delicious! My friend got the shrimp tacos and said the corn salsa was to die for.
Our 3 year olds also gave double thumbs ups and dug right in! Definitely a hidden gem in Carleton Place! 😊

Nice little hidden gem in Carleton Place that serves special creations by the chef via food truck. I wanted to love this place as I love tacos. This is not an authentic Mexican taco joint, in case that's what you are looking for. With that in my head, I end up ordering the fish taco as it was one of the specials for the day. I also ordered a plant based taco and one of their delicious salads. The cod could have been seasoned more but it was fried and cooked perfectly. The rest of the fixings made up for the flavor. The tacos and portions are small so you need to order at least 2 to hit the spot for an adult. The salad was very good but was very small. Could have used a bit more veggies like greens to make it into a meal on its own. Food was on point but the portions were disappointing which made this place a bit pricey for my liking. If money were not a factor and am craving some great food, I will go back here. The wait was a bit long but there were picnic tables and umbrellas that made the wait easy. I encourage you to order ahead online so the wait is not as long. I did have a lady in front of me who ordered 2 dozen tacos so that could be why I waited so long.
