Came here with the family for breakfast. Eggs Benny was awesome. Kids got giant pancakes with the kids meal. Fresh squeezed orange juice was great. Note this place can be very busy weekends I'd recommend resevervations.

My wife and I have eaten at Freska a few times now and I have realized that every time, it's been an excellent experience. Time for a review! On this visit Sarah greeted and waited on us as well. What a lovely ray of sunshine she is! We ordered Beef Benny and as we have learned, we asked them for an extra plate as one order is enough for both of us. But first, a lovely tasting coffee! When our food showed up, it had been separated on to two plates and beautifully presented. What a lovely touch! The food was hot and delicious, likely the best Beef Benny I've ever had. The Hollandaise sauce was fresh and had the perfect consistency. The seasoning on the potatoes was also mouth-watering perfect. Dining at Freska is such a great experience in every way; the staff (both wait and kitchen) are positive and work as a team. The food is original, very flavorful, fresh and presented with a little panache, very attractively. With such care given to the staff and food, it follows that the atmosphere falls into the same. You feel welcome, appreciated and cared for. The atmosphere is bright, friendly and very comfortable. Don't miss an opportunity to experience this gem in Carleton Place!

We went to Freska Cafe after our wedding at the Grand Hotel down the street and have nothing but great things to say. We reached out beforehand to book some tables and had ~30 people show up for brunch. Not only was the service fast and friendly, the food was amazing and very well priced. The cafe did an amazing job at accommodating such a large group and everyone loved their meals. Would go back again!

Their benedicts are really good, especially those with mushrooms and we are sure not only those, that's why we will certainly come there again. Atmosphere is like in a nice old Italian family cafe, the tiny terrace in summer is majestic. Some say and we agree that it's a little bit pricey, but the quality certainly justifies it.

Super cute little gem in the heart of downtown Carlton Place. The Benedict Wrap was delicious as was the vanilla latte. Staff was warm and welcoming as well! Didn’t sit inside but looked spacious.

Went on the weekend for the first time and the food and service were excellent. Cozy atmosphere and Sarah was our server who was fantastic and charming. I had the braised beef eggs Benny, Caesar and biscotti vanilla cake. All were delicious and will definitely go back :)

We stopped here for breakfast on the way back to the GTA. What a meal we had! Their day's special was a reinvention of eggs benny with braised beef and caramelized onion. Probably the best eggs benny I have ever eaten. The venue is also cozy and the servers are very kind. I strongly recommend this place for breakfast.
