Maverick's Donuts, Carleton Place

Had a yeast maple dip and blueberry lemon…absolutely delicious! Fresh and fluffy. Caramel latte was great too! Well worth the $

The doughnuts are good, but quite frankly I’d be just as happy with Tim’s and these cost $7+ for two, then ask for a tip. I was satisfied with the product, but they’re extremely expensive for what you get. Not sure I’d go back.

Chocolate peanut butter donuts. Very little peanut butter taste, very cake like. Boston cream was better with lots of filling. But, the donuts are overpriced for what you get. Will not go back, I have had much better donuts at local bakeries.

Ordered donuts for a work event, was a hit for sure. Even found a couple of donuts with our company logo on them. Total surprise! Will definitely be going back.

Great atmosphere, and really good coffee and raised donuts!!!

Been to Mavericks several times since moving to Carleton Place in June'24. Staff/owner are very friendly, patient while you try & decide which flavors you want. It's nice that they also sell frozen soups to go. They do speciality orders as well if you have an office event on-going which is great.

The chocolate cake donuts (with clear glaze) were delicious. The coffee was very good. The service was friendly.

Fantastic little donut shop, I always found that Holy Confections was too decadent and rich for my liking and this was a perfect balance between flavor and diabetes.

The staff were extremely friendly and were happy to serve.

The place was very clean and looked like pride was taken in the presentation of products.

The fresh lemonade I had was 'okay' but I can't fault a donut shop for something like that.

The price was a bit expensive for a box of 6 donuts being around 20$ at ~3.33$ a donut it's a bit excessive all things considered

The specialty donuts flavoring was excellently delivered and their ability to play with the texture of the donuts to add another layer to each donut was extremely well done. The flavors were balanced just right and weren't over powering in any way.

It seemed like they used a lot of browned butter in their flavorings which was a really nice touch as well as it also confirms that they use real ingredients and likely didn't use shortening as a cop out.

Overall this is deffinately somewhere I can confidently reccomend to friends and family alike as the experience left me wanting more and the flavors were delicious.

I LOVE your GF cinnamon sugar doughnuts! Thank you so much for taking the time to perfect a great GF recipe. It's been a struggle to find good desert/comfort food that's GF but you've done it. I highly recommend they won't disappoint!

I have been searching for a great gluten friendly donut for years!!!

We were so excited to see Mavericks CP had mastered their recipe and we are officially hooked! The BEST GF donut my son and I have ever had. Fresh, incredible flavour and so close to us that it may become dangerous (two times in one week already lol).
