Used to love coming here until new staff and new renovations. We used to come and sit and chat however they changed to a bench with row seating for 8 people only. Staff used to smile and greet when you walked in. Now they all look like they hate their jobs and heaven forbid you need something extra like a little more cream because they will roll their eyes and sigh before going to get it.
Sad Starbucks literally pushed people out of coming by removing all the seating and now have bitter staff. I won't be back to this location.

The slowest service I have ever experienced at a coffee shop. There were 7 people working but nobody acknowledged any customers. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms, wrong drink order was made and no apology or eye contact from anyone working on Labour Day. Would not recommend.

Sadly this will be my last trip to this or any other Starbucks. Upon entry there are no other patrons, so you'd think an order would be processed quickly. Instead the staff prioritize mobile orders and churn out drinks for people who aren't even there. Or the drive through. Meanwhile it's a 15-20 minute wait for a single drink for those (a single person - me) with the temerity to show up in person and talk to a human. And no I don't want to download an app and order while driving to get a simple coffee.

I contemplated hopping the counter and pouring myself a cold brew coffee, but instead I just left.

Was super excited to try something new on my birthday! Unfortunately the server at your window was absolutely miserable ? Opened the window and didn’t say good morning, I said “Good morning,” and that I was there to pick up my birthday drink (of course I’m in a great mood) Her response was a dead faced “Let us know at the speaker next time” and she walked away. Handed me my drink and closed the window. What a joke, girl. Get a new job if you’re that miserable. Thanks for the free drink

The store had a reno last November, and the cafe is a vit smaller, but the store is so much brighter and offers a nitro cold brew now

Me and my girlfriend are regulars at the Carleton place location, alot of the time we're greeted by this big bald guy with glasses, and he always is in a miserable mood, the first few times thought maybe it was a bad day but this man never fails to be a miserable experience every time we see him there, he must be a manager to still be employed there acting and holding himself the way he does,we always try to be kind and say thank you and have a good day but without fail, every time, no response back and just turns away, service from everyone else is usually pretty good, other than this one older lady who for some reason feels the need to very obviously and uncomfortably look through your vehicle while serving you, the renovations also made the place feel like a real get in-get out kind of coffee shop, can't sit and relax and have a conversation nearly as comfortably as before, overall I give this location a very poor rating, mainly because of the bald "manager" who just ruins the experience every time, other than that, not the worst place for a drink, and to the manager, if you're reading this, put a smile on that face and treat your customers with some respect;)

It's a modern Starbucks, they have food, they have snacks, they have decent coffee and a drive through. No seating really so only for a quick pick and leave. Service was great, but busy place.

I loved the store in Kemptville..it had great service/staff, etc but the store in Carleton Place, now that I live here it's my go-to:
but Carleton Place store is awful!! Extremely slow service (even when i ordered ahead using app!!), unfriendly staff, coffee cups 3/4 full..and for the price you charge....well.
I was even asked to wait outside since it was going to take time to make one coffee...so I waited in parking out front....and waited almost 15 mins!! Many ppl went in and out snd thru drive-thru and I still didn't get mine. Terrible.
After a super long term customer...you're loosing my business fast!!
