The best pretzels, we love the classic and cheese with mustard dip! Also the Bavarian cream custard or raspberry doughnuts are very tasty! Worth the drive and lucky we don't live too close for our waistband. Also, the owners are always so friendly and kind!

Omg, stumbled upon this place on our way through Carleton Place and wow what a treat! Got the pretzel wrapped jalapeño beef sausage, bacon and cheddar pretzel, and, omg the Berliner doughnut... Yum! And the reception was so friendly! Thank you, well be back.

The staff noticed I arrived by bike and encouraged me to use their water fountain to refill my bottles.
Lovely spot to grab a treat if you are on the Trans Canada

I wish I had found this gem earlier! My very German parents loved their brotchen (rolls), pretzels and bienenstich (bee sting cake). I'll be stopping here whenever I go visit them.

Was cycling through Carleton Place from Ottawa, stopped in for some refueling. Had a loaf of Multigrain bread, a date square and a Creme Brulee berliner. Everything was amazing, staff was fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Delicious baked goods but even nicer staff. Someone in the back saw our bike helmets while we were in line and came out to tell us we were welcome to refill our water bottles using their water station. Front counter staff person reiterated that, and was super helpful in her recommendations. I will definitely return next time I'm in CP.
