We went with my family of 5 and was disappointed service was very bad especially on the bill said manager. The dishes were dirty we didn't stay long, only had a drink and a salad to start and waited 45 min to be served again we left with no care to the manager very very

Amazing breakfast place. I loved the Poutine!! It was sooooooooo Good!!!And the way they make their pancakes. Wow just wow!!!!I did not like the Nutella milkshake though as it was not thicker in consistency; but if that’s your thing then it’s a must try. Yogurt milkshakes were soooooo good!!

50s diner style eating with lots of menu choices. Very bright inside, a little bit much for me and loud because it's wide open inside without much partition to divide customers and deaden sound. Good food, fair prices and quick friendly service.

Wow. This place was exactly what I needed after travelling. We were greeted right away and sat instantly and was offered coffee. The waiter, Jay, was phenomenal. The service was top notch. Wish there was this restaurant in my province! 10/10. Great job Jay. You made out experience the best.

Service and food was great. The atmosphere isn’t as nice as Kanata and certainly not the same as the Byward Market. Coming from the west to visit family in Carleton Place it was great to be able to go to a Zaks!

This is our new favourite restaurant! It’s complete with excellent location, good food, and the most comfortable atmosphere.We came on a busy Family Day morning/lunch, and although the place was packed, the staff were all cheerful, helpful and understanding. They even had a waiting/play area with a little someone for any age; foosball, air hockey, play kitchen, books and comfy couches. Their family/accessible washroom was perfect for us!Joel was such an amazing server! Our four year old really was looking forward to having Icecream, but they didn’t have any today. Joel made sure she got something special anyway. Those gummie worms made her day! Thank you Joel!!

We used to go to Zaks in Ottawa years ago whenever we wanted to do a family breakfast always having exceptional service and food. And this time was no different. The manager took care of our every need without us having to ask for anything at all. We had a great conversation before the meal and realized she was our waitress from the Kanata location. Being a server myself I am very critical of other servers and look for flaws haha she totally passed with a A+ I’d give her a raise. The food came out hot looking and tasting absolutely amazing. If your look for a place to eat Id definitely recommend checking out Zaks and asking for Kim to serve you. (I hope I got your name right I’m bad with names)

My friend & I met yesterday at Zak’s in Carleton Place for breakfast. We loved it. Both her & I had the Eggs Benedict…just perfect! The wait staff was attentive & the diner was bright and inviting!! As we gals were catching up from an outing last fall, we had lots to talk about & weren’t shooed out…thanks & know we’ll be back!!
