Blakes Memories of Muskoka -The Bay

We loved everything about it. The location is amazing. We stopped at Blake's on our way home from sudbury. I'm so glad we did. Our waitress was such a sweetheart and very attentive. The restaurant it's self is gorgeous, reminds you of a rustic old lodge. The food was fantastic everything we had was cooked perfectly. Thank you to the chef and waitress at Blake's killbear for a lovely evening.

Such a delightful venue; the view from the balcony of Georgian Bay is stunning. The food was delicious (roast beef dip and fries - yummy and the chicken skewers Greek dinner was great). Portions were generous. The $5 pints of draft, refreshing and affordable! We were served by Adrienne who was very professional yet personable. Service was flawless. Although it’s an hour’s drive each way, we have already decided to enjoy ourselves again next week! Highly recommend; you will not be disappointed.

This place needs a BIG LESSON in CUSTOMER SERVICE & HOSPITALITY! $25 for a pizza and their staff don’t seem to have ANY manners.

JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONLY RESTAURANT WITHIN “REASONABLE” DISTANCE, DOES NOT MEAN YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE GARBAGE!!

The boyfriend and his family spent big dollars on a vacation in the cabins that connect on the property; I just ordered a pizza for pick up and the lady on the phone was ignorant as all hell. I couldn’t even ask a question without her yelling through the phone “name” “name” “can I have a name” and being snarky and blatantly rude, while I’m actively trying to ask a question regarding their menu, then decided it’s a good idea to talk back to and demean your customers over the phone

Your customer service stinks sweetheart, if I spoke to my customers in Niagara that way, I’d be written up and put on disciplinary probation instantly; have some higher standards for yourself and the business you represent as an employee

It’s YOUR JOB to gain business, and you behaving like a female dog with potential customers over the phone is not the way to do so; you’ll be lucky if I actually come to pickup and pay for that food I just ordered from your already backed up kitchen:)

Service left so much to be desired. The food definitely didn’t make up for the bad service. The “blackened chicken” was just gross and nothing like what it should be. This was my first and last time trying this establishment.

Great views open air not much in the culinary field fish & chips and fish bits need a lot of work. Hamburger’s are great.

I was very disappointed with my visit and embarrassed that we brought family out as we’d heard rave reviews last year but our boat was out of service then.
It seems like the food does not match the service or atmosphere and each of us had something different and all were not good.
My daughter was there last weekend and said that she wasn’t pleased either. It’s a shame for such a pretty location and I’d enjoyed the other one.

Our first time there and we will definitely be going back. The decor is rustic, staff is friendly and menu has lots of choices. We loved the fact that there is no loud music or TVs playing in the background - a quiet place to eat and chat with each other. We tried pizza and it was great, lots of toppings and cheese. Keep up the good work!

Great destination for lunch or dinner, by boat or car.
