Bought fries at lunchtime Dec 6th. Fries were very dry and tasted of old oil. Not the best when you are wanting hot chips.

We were stopping through after a very, very long drive back from Alberta. Fry shack food looked good, but when we pulled up to sit down, we wanted to try the ice cream first. It was from a local diary called "Brums" and it was great. Holy Crow, what a serving of icecream they give you!! After that went down, we decided to have some fries as a light snack for the way home. It was a pleasant stop with plenty of seats on the patio to sit down. There's even a nice bathroom there to use.

Lots of outside seating and parking. Very clean. Server was in a snarky mood so it impacted my overall experience. Not the first to notice this I see. Hamburger is a mixed meat product, not 100% beef. Fries were good.

Wonderful roadside chip stands on steroids. Loved the food, and the portions are generous. Service, ordering etc.... great.But beware...... cash only but they have an ATM.

When looking for fries or chip truck food, this is a place worth trying. Bathroom available, beautiful deck with umbrellas, and a big tent with 4 other picnic tables for heavy rain dining.Friendly staff and their Poutine has the best cheese to gravy to fry ratio I've ever had.It's a bit pricey for some items, but I tell ya, the poutine is killer. We also liked their combo platter. You get to pick up to 5 items. The battered mushrooms, pickles, and mac&cheese bites were some favourites. We will be back.
Low frills roadside burgers, fries, etc. The ice cream 2 scoop is HUGE, more like a pint+ of ice cream! The burger & wings were really good.

I usually call these places a chip truck. Not this one, though. Well maintained, large deck with plenty of seating. If raining, no worries, there is an area which is sheltered. The food was awesome. Did not try the ice cream parlor.Parking: Had a parking spot dedicated to veterans.
