“Great place to stop at right on the highway. There are chip truck options and ice cream. The place has washrooms and an ATM as they only accept cash. Lots of tables and chairs on the patio. A little pricey for the quantity of food but overall everything was great. We had poutine, and the gravy wasn't very warm, so it didn't melt the cheese, but the fries were hot and crispy, and there were lots of cheese curds.”

“A little difficult to get to, but once you cut through the woods and find the hole in the fence, the smell of freshly baked crullers leads you the rest of the way. A shame really, they took my order and cash, but escorted me off the premises with a bag over my head before I could get my hands on my precious. FYI Jack, I saw your badge I know you ate my cruller!

“I visit my parents in Deep River often and was waiting for something like this to open! Great coffee and the scones are the BEST I’ve ever had! I tried the lemon cranberry, mixed berry and cheddar chive - all were AMAZING! I Can’t wait to go back and try the other desserts.”

“excellent pizza, and thanks to the friendly and helpful staff they make adjustments to what you prefer, in my case i ask for well done, and that is exaclty what i get everytime, a crispy crust and a little browning on the cheese. i order by phone and the pizza is always wating for me in 20 minutes. there is no doubt this the best pizza in town, and at the best price. friends who visit me from cities where there are endless pizza outlets confirm that it is a great pizzeria”

“I highly recommend the Bears Den in Deep River. We were driving through and took a chance. It has a huge menu were everyone can find something they like. Service was excellent. A robot serves your food. Food was excellent and the prices and great. (I don’t recommend the Kale salad) but everything else was so good.”

“Went in for lunch as a party of 3. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The food portion were huge! Especially the Singapore noodles that could feed two people. The food was delicious, we will definitely be coming back.”
