Still one of the best bakeries in CK. I went recently and picked up some fruitcake for Christmas. (Yes... some of us do like it and they make great fruitcake!) Also, while you're there do grab a Teardrop donut. Just a little bit of Heaven, those are!! (Glazed donut with cream filling). They have other flavors as well.
So I thought I would stop in. Seemed like the parking lot was busy... Must be a good bakery... We yes and no.. the dutchies were amazing. I thought I would get a couple pies... A cherry pie and pumpkin. Absolutely horrible. Flavourless bland crust. The pumpkin pie was maybe half an inch thick. The crust just made it wrong. I ended up throwing half of it out. Amazing Bakery.. definitely a stop in every time in Chatham. Would highly recommend! We absolutely loved the whip cream tear drop donuts.. they are a favourite. We ordered a cake for this weekends Thanksgiving/birthday. The cake was a hit.. very good and not too sweet like requested( no buttercream). Quality was definitely there and we will definitely be ordering again.
