Not good service, when we entered they yelled across the room to sit at the window. We grabbed our own menus, food was good but at the end my husband has a hard time with dent machine so waitress helped. Knowing she was given a tip, she entered the amount, and when my husband was done with the machine she just grabbed it and walked away. No thank you, no kiss my ass, No nothing! So we walked by her while she was waiting in another customer and I told her your welcome, she looked at us like a deer in headlights! Not impressed at all!

This is a fun nostalgic meeting place for family and friends. Senior menus are also available. There is plenty of parking and the service is kind, upbeat and friendly! Everybody loves Wimpy's !

We went in for breakfast, was not to busy as they had empty tables. Got coffee right away and reasonable amount of time to place our order, bacon and eggs nothing special. I noticed that she place a bunch of orders at one time, so knew there would be a wait time. After 20 minutes we had to ask for more coffee. At 25 minutes Orders started to go up and we noticed that a single person who had not even been there for 10 minutes got his order of bacon and eggs and we never go ours. We also noticed that there was a table of 3 that placed their order a head of our that were also waiting. This is not the 1st time that we had slow service at this restaurant and we will never go back.
Visiting Chatham for family in the hospital. We ordered in for dinner, the onion rings were so bland and greasy I couldn’t eat them. I also ordered a veggie burger and it was very dry, no flavour at all (and I know my way around a good veg burger!). My girlfriend ordered fried and a club sandwich, both were decent but fries were greasy and limp. Overall disappointing.

Unfortunately, gone down since last visit. I know it is difficult getting help, let alone good help. Waitress very friendly. Loveable person. Just not getting the "would you like more coffee" routine. Portions are scaled back as in fried potatoes. Even the rye bread seemed smaller. My waistline appreciates it. However, either prices go up or portions go down. Tip NOT automatically included which to me is a killer to ever go back to an establishment. Yes, I would go back.

Just had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and fries at Wimpy’s Diner, and it was a treat! The chicken was perfectly crispy with a delightful spicy kick, balanced by the cool crunch of pickles. The fries were golden and seasoned just right.
If you're in Chatham and craving some comfort food with a punch, Wimpys Diner Chatham is definitely worth a visit!
