“We took our kids here for the first time however, my husband and I have been there many times on great date nights and spent many times at those barstools just enjoying a pita together not only is the size enormous but JP himself is an excellent host in what I’d like to think is his house. His restaurant is warm inviting he’s ever accommodating and he makes everyone feel welcomed. Thank you again JP for another great family fun night.”

The servers Tammy and G are amazing, friendly and efficient. For sure the best breakfast in Bowmanville. And lunch too is amazing. Excellent soups. And the roti is so good too.”

“Kudos to the Manager on duty on July 13th. I ordered from Uber Eats and there was an error with my order. The Uber Eats menu had the wrong description for the item I ordered and therefore I received something I wasn’t expecting. I called the restaurant and the Manager took the time to figure out what happened and offered to replace my meal even though it was not an error on their end. This is excellent customer service. The food was great regardless of the change. Thank you Hampton Bar and Grill 🙏🏻”

Great taste, and if you are looking for spice, the cook can make it, just asked the server. We have never been dissatisfied with Da Taste, and have recommended it to family and friends. “We visited Chanterelle Bistro twice this week — once for afternoon tea and again for supper — and both experiences were outstanding. The team graciously accommodated my celiac and onion sensitivities, and offered vegetarian options for my partner during tea. The savoury and sweet treats (even the gluten free ones!) were delicious, and the teas were superb. For dinner, I had the rocket salad, butternut squash risotto, and crème brûlée — all beautifully prepared. My partner loved the midweek special: mushroom soup, Atlantic salmon, and crème brûlée. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service on both visits was exceptional. Highly recommend!”

“This is our go to breakfast/lunch restaurant. The waitresses are wonderful, they remember your names and drink orders always. The cook is so nice and his food is good.”

“This is a fantastic shop. Lunch meals are always amazing. Staff is my favourite. Real people service real food. Other store products are great. If you need a future last minute meal they have great options, smoked meats that are quick and easy or raw meats for you to do yourself.”

“I love my Free Topping pizza loaded with cheese. The crust is baked perfectly and crispy all around. The crunchy salami on the side makes it even better.

There are also plenty of side dishes to choose from, my favorites are the garlic bread with cheese, chicken strips, and chicken nuggets.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the owner is just as nice. Ordering online is also very convenient and smooth, which makes the whole experience even better.”
