“I hope some one reads this review. My husband and I were so pleased with the service and atmosphere. Most of all we love the food. The cook is amazing. Great taste, and if you are looking for spice, the cook can make it, just asked the server. We have never been dissatisfied with Da Taste, and have recommended it to family and friends. This is the first time I have ever written a letter about a restaurant. I hope you have a meal at this place and see why we enjoy it so much. Cheers. Thank you for the great food and service. The staff are incredible; they are fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Whether you’re popping in for a casual lunch, a pint with friends, or a hearty dinner, ONH never misses.”

“Perfect place to enjoy the authentic taste of fish and chips. We have ordered halibut and chips and trust me it was well worth the money I paid. Very good quantity in the food, super friendly staff, nice and clean and the taste is amazing. Try their coconut cream pie and you’ll be blown away. All in all this place ticks all the marks in the small town of new castle.”

“Aisha is one of the greatest subway employees, she always makes the best sandwiches when I come in on my break every day. She is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and is the only reason I continue to come to this location.”

“Tried them tonight, not too bad. Sandwiches were very tasty but would benefit from other options such as a mix of mushrooms, green peppers and onions. Not a fan of the fries. Ditch the frozen coated fries and go with fresh hand cut instead. Online ordering was a challenge, forced into options like additional unwanted sauces and the order never went through. Goid thing I called to verify...online ordering needs some work. Overall 7/10”

“Went to the restaurant and noticed a better deal on the Popeyes app, so we ordered through the app. It took about 20 minutes to get the food, but the portion sizes were very satisfying. One downside was the closing time — online it said the restaurant closes at 12 AM on Saturdays, but the staff said they were closing at 10 PM.”

She is absolutely amazing and was so patient!!! I got a hazelnut wrapped with en extra shot of espresso. I never thought I would enjoy Starbucks so very much!”

“Had an issue with my new mobile Tim Hortons app. Turns out you have to make digital purchase of Tim card to active it on mobile app. Supervisor at this location was very helpful in getting my issues with it, and the tim card sorted out in just a few minutes. Thanks afternoon shift supervisor. 👍🙏”

“We took our kids here for the first time however, my husband and I have been there many times on great date nights and spent many times at those barstools just enjoying a pita together not only is the size enormous but JP himself is an excellent host in what I’d like to think is his house. His restaurant is warm inviting he’s ever accommodating and he makes everyone feel welcomed. Thank you again JP for another great family fun night.”

“If it was available, would rate this place 5++ stars. Found this gem for breakfast (they also have lunch/dinner)on our road trip towards Ottawa as it’s conveniently only a few minutes off the 401. Extensive menu, clean and organized. Food and coffee were hot, fresh and delicious. The owner was so personable and it was clear that this is a local favourite as he was serving tables that he appeared to know their orders before they even sat down. Warm & inviting little spot, we will keep this one on our radar as we make trips along this stretch on the regular. Thank you for a fabulous experience we will be back to try some other dishes. This is a must-dine place!!”

“Fantastic service and even better food. Can't say anything but great things about this restaurant. The Pulled pork spring rolls were amazing. The pork tenderloin was to die for. And to top it off .. the Creme Brulee was a great ending to an amazing meal”
