Restaurants near Newcastle

“Great food and very friendly staff 👍”

“I hope some one reads this review. My husband and I were so pleased with the service and atmosphere. Most of all we love the food. The cook is amazing. Great taste, and if you are looking for spice, the cook can make it, just asked the server. We have never been dissatisfied with Da Taste, and have recommended it to family and friends. This is the first time I have ever written a letter about a restaurant. I hope you have a meal at this place and see why we enjoy it so much. Cheers. Thank you for the great food and service. See you soon.”

“Castle John's gave us great service today when we brought a lacrosse team including 15 players and parents we expected a wait on food but it came our fast and delicious!!”

“I’ve been a regular at the Old Newcastle House for over five years, and it never disappoints! The servers are fantastic, the food is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The patio is especially enjoyable and one of my favourite spots. Whether you’re stopping in for a meal or just looking for a great place to spend an afternoon, you really can’t go wrong. Highly recommend the Old Newcastle House for your next outing!”

“We love going to Newcastle Griddle! They are always super friendly and have great food! Ask for Karin's hot sauce!”

“I order online all the time for free toppings Newcastle . I made a mistake asking for delivery so I called and he said no problem just come to pick up will remove delivery charge . I put set time on it for pick up. I went at set time no problem the charge was removed . Pizza is always been good when we order so no complaints. On top of that it started to downpour outside so I decided to wait for it to settle but not sure if owner came with his umbrella to walk me out to my car . Great service . Thanks for the good pizza and great service .”

“Had a family celebration recently at Massey House. Good food and service was excellent!”

“Perfect place to enjoy the authentic taste of fish and chips. We have ordered halibut and chips and trust me it was well worth the money I paid. Very good quantity in the food, super friendly staff, nice and clean and the taste is amazing. Try their coconut cream pie and you’ll be blown away. All in all this place ticks all the marks in the small town of new castle.”

“Was in on Sunday afternoon, and there were tons of customers ahead of me, most of which were taking way longer than they should have. But the lady behind the counter, (I think she’s the regular full-time) she was so patient, efficient and fast. Good for her for staying calm during the rush, especially since she was on her own.”

“amazing food. amazing service. that is all 💙”

“I got Lots of healthy food options Delicious food 🍱”

“Now that was fantastic pizza Worth the drive from Whitby We happen to find this gem by accident a happy accident”

“Tried them tonight, not too bad. Sandwiches were very tasty but would benefit from other options such as a mix of mushrooms, green peppers and onions. Not a fan of the fries. Ditch the frozen coated fries and go with fresh hand cut instead. Online ordering was a challenge, forced into options like additional unwanted sauces and the order never went through. Goid thing I called to verify...online ordering needs some work. Overall 7/10”

“I recently went and ordered a couple sandwiches, this has got to be the cleanest subway I’ve ever seen. Ingredients all look fresh and stocked up. Staff super friendly Kiran helped us and she was fantastic, looked like she loved her job. Offered up some suggestions. 100% will be back”

“great food at reasonable prices”

“One of the nicest Popeyes. Well managed. And great consistent taste. I met the owner on my visit, short guy, very friendly and so was his rest of the staff. Will come again.”

“Even though the line was long, the experience was absolutely worth the wait! Carmyn was so patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful with my husband, my kids, and me. She took the time to recommend drinks for all of us, and every single one was amazing! Her positive attitude and exceptional customer service really stood out, especially during such a busy time. Thank you, Carmyn, for making our visit such a great experience—we’ll definitely be back!”

“Amazing. Once again. My friends and I had an amazing experience. We didn't have to wait for a table and were seated right away. Liz, our server was friendly and certainly knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations. Our food was prompt and delicious. We will recommend Montana's as we always do. Thanks, Liz, for making sure our ''glasses' weren't empty.”
