Great pub, and you wouldn't expect it being attached to a chain like that. I had the fish and chips which were good quality, with a decent batter and meaty fillet. There was a bit of tail in it, but not much luckily, so I won't knock that bit too hard but it wasn't pleasant.
I had a Moscow mule there as well and while $11 is too much for a cocktail in my opinion, it was still a solid meal, if a bit pricey.

I found it very frustrating that we had reservations planning ahead and didn't know that we had to state that our group had 3 seniors who would not be able to sit on the high chairs. When we asked to be moved to a normal table they would not accommodate even though there were lots of tables that others had not arrived for. Make sure you ask customers accessibility questions when taking reservations. After being talked to rudely by a waitress the last time we were there and this situation this time we will spend our money elsewhere. Disappointing as we used to like eating here and coming for the entertainment.

We had a couple appetizers and a couple drinks. The buffalo chicken dip kinds tasted funny we informed the waitress when we paid but then she never returned. Not sure if we will return not often that we are in cobourg.

We had a great experience at Arthur’s Pub in Cobourg last night! Nicole our waitress was excellent! She was very personable and attentive! Nicole was very good with our children, she made sure everything was good at our table multiple times she went above and beyond what most waitresses do. Best dining out experience we have had in a long time! The food at Arthur’s is always delicious! We ordered the French onion burger and the fish with chips. We have always been very pleased with the food there. Can’t wait to go back again!

Worst service ever. We were seated at the bar then totally ignored. After 20 minutes we asked for menus/service and got nothing but attitude from the bartender. Were told it was busy; it wasn’t. We left without ever being served. What a disappointment. Went to the Beamish House in Port Hope. Service was great.

We took our grandsons to Arthur’s for dinner last night and the food was good, waitress was lovely but we were extremely disappointed to learn that although we understood our meal came with a choice of soup, salad or fries, there was a significant “up charge” for Caesar Salad I had the house salad which had far more vegetables and no up charge but my husband was up charged $4.99 for a pretty mediocre Caesar salad. When you are offered “soup, salad or fries” you should be advised of the up charge depending on your choice.

Seemed very unhappy with her job and just didn’t want to be there. Called us “miss ‘ and said “understood’ when we asked for something. Very bizarre behaviour.
