“I booked the indoor dining room for a baby shower. The staff were wonderful and the decor was perfect for welcoming a baby girl! Edited to add: I sent the guests home with berry scones from the cafe…everyone reached out over the next couple of days to ask where they came from. They LOVED the scones from the Pink Cafe!”

“This is absolutely an amazing chocolate shop!! Genuinely some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had!

I always get an assortment of different chocolates and they usually carry a seasonal item. This last time I went in the summer it was fudge, and in October last year, I got chocolate bars. Every thing I’ve tried here has been fantastic and one time I was even gifted a bit of free gelato before I left which was also delicious.

I definitely recommend coming here if you want to get some wonderfully yummy goodies!”

Two for us and three hanging.” They paid, they took their two coffees and left. I asked the waiter. "What’s this about hanging coffees?" "Wait and you'll see." Some more people came in. Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid & left. The following order was for seven coffees and it was made by three women - ‘three for them and four hanging coffees.’ I was left wondering...what is the meaning of the hanging coffees, they leave. Suddenly, a man dressed in worn clothes, who looks like he might be homeless, arrives at the counter and asks sincerely. " Do you have a coffee hanging?" “Yes we do sir” They serve him a coffee.... I got my answer on these famous " HANGING COFFEES" People pay in advance for a coffee that will be served to whoever can't afford a hot drink. This tradition started in Naples. Amazingly it’s spread throughout the worlds cities and towns. It’s also possible to order not only "hanging coffees" but also a sandwich or a full low cost meal. Make sure to publish this beautiful idea to everyone. Share it if you want to help promote the idea too. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all start doing this in the cities, towns and villages where we live. Let me know if your local coffee shop does this. “I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this might be the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Stopped into 241 Pizza in Cobourg and got my pizza made by Sal-absolute masterclass.

The first thing that hit was how perfectly done the bake was. The crust had that ideal balance: crisp on the outside, soft and airy inside, with enough structure to hold every bite without going floppy. Then come the toppings loaded properly, fresh, generous, and every ingredient actually tasted like itself instead of getting lost.

But the showstopper? That spicy tomato sauce base. Unreal. It had this perfect kick not overpowering, just enough heat to keep you coming back for the next bite. You could tell somebody actually cared while making it instead of throwing ingredients together.

As someone local, I’ll say this — places survive because people keep showing up, and after this pizza, I completely get why. Sal absolutely crushed it.

“Let me preface this review by stating that the food here is amazing. I have never been disappointed with the food. My disappointment comes with the service and the owners treatment of her pt staff. The owner really needs to take a step back and allow her staffing to do their job!!! I was in there to grab a couple of takeout orders and I waited in line for almost an hour before I was able to place my order. You cannot order their takeout options ahead of time. The owner is very critical of her staff and when it is busy she is very controlling to the level of being rude. The line would move much quicker if she would allow a second staff member to assist with filling orders. She often forgets what you asked for because she is so busy controlling how her staff answers the phone, takes payment, etc. The wait time can be absolutely ridiculous simply because as one person trying to manage everything she ends up making customers wait for extended periods of time for their food. Relinquish some control and trust your training. This restaurant could be so much better.”

The restaurant also looks cleaner and more comfortable inside. In my opinion, Wendy’s is one of the best choices among fast-food restaurants. We come here from time to time and always enjoy our visit.”
