“We visited Port Hope for the day and started by admiring their charming downtown. We stumbled on this restaurant inside the historic Waddell Hotel, and it turned out to be such a great find. The building is old (in the best way), and you can actually feel its character from the echo in the dining rooms. It’s cozy, charming, and full of that Port Hope small-town warmth.

The menu is surprisingly extensive, with lots of classic Italian dishes — perfect if you’re craving pasta like I was. It absolutely hit the spot, and bonus points for offering both chili flakes and chili oil. My friends shared the Brooklyn Pizza and Caesar Salad, and there wasn’t a single bite left on any of our plates.
