Last night we had a party of 17. A family reunion of sorts. After being seated and having to wait 28 minutes before having our orders taken, it took an additional 45 minutes before our food arrived to our table. We watched the table opposite us be served, cleaned, and served again with different customers before there was any sign of our dinners. Our daughter had to leave before her food arrived as she had another engagement, so she didn't even get to eat. There were a few of our party who's dinner arrived stone cold, and after the lengthy wait, decided to get take out boxes to just take it home to microwave it instead of asking for a new plate. Some plates came out looking like the kitchen staff were in too much of a rush to prepare the meals to spec. This was, by far, the worst experience we have ever had at this restaurant. Will not return, or recommend.

CJ's is a culinary crossroads of comfort food and intriguing sights. We stumbled upon this bustling establishment, a relic of a bygone era once known as Casey's. The atmosphere was alive with activity, as families gathered around tables and servers dashed about like caffeinated squirrels.

We decided to indulge in a classic burger and wing combo, which was a safe choice. While it wasn’t groundbreaking, it certainly filled our bellies. Feeling adventurous, we also tried the mushroom caps and coconut shrimp. Though the food was solid, it had that familiar, mass-produced charm.

The true star of the show, however, was the service. The waitstaff worked tirelessly to ensure that every patron's needs were met. Their dedication was as impressive as a tightrope walker balancing on a high wire.

That said, a word of caution for those heading to the bathroom: tread with care. While the facilities were functional, they could use a bit of TLC. Entering them felt like stepping into a forgotten era, where grime and neglect seemed to reign supreme.

Now, let's talk about the real attraction: the rotisserie chicken window. It’s like a live cooking show, but instead of Gordon Ramsay, you get a bunch of chickens doing their spin cycle. It’s mesmerizing, and oddly satisfying to watch.

In conclusion, CJ's offers a quirky and chaotic dining experience. If you're looking for a taste of nostalgia and a side of rotisserie chicken theatre, this place is worth a visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a mess in the bathroom.

Ordered chicken fingers and they were nasty. No crunch, cold, and discoloured. My husband tried them and was surprised I did not send them back. Think it was seagull from the parking lot, not chicken. Did not send back as I was with a group and did not want to make a scene. Server seemed a little frustrated and the restaurant was busy.

Just not ok. Fajitas were fine but the beef dip was bluntly awful. Dried shriveled slices of meat that looked like shoe leather on an equally dry bun. Just wonder how restaurants can serve that food and expect to be paid. Avoid this place and go to Wendy’s or McDonald’s for much better quality. CJ must mean crappy junk.

Had the bacon burger. Awesome. Fresh meat not frozen. Was not expecting that good a burger from a bar and grill place. Great service. Speedy in spite of it being busy. Great waitress.
