First time trying this place while driving through town. Quaint. Nice place overall. Great art. The food was great. Prices, within norms for this type of place. Service was, sub par. Very friendly, but very slow. Took almost 15 minutes before our drink order... Which we just ordered our meal as well since we didn't want to wait longer still. I noticed others around us were looking rather annoyed and obviously lacking service attention. Food took a long time to arrive. Server forgot the water asked for, but brought other drinks. Food was excellent. My wife had to go up to the bar to ask for condiments and such... Couldn't get attention because the servers stayed behind the bar 90% of the time. No check to see how the food was etc.
I'd go back for the food, but not if I'm in a hurry.

This place has amazing food and is one of the few places foodie worthy in Cobourg. The cocktails are creative and refreshing on the palate. The setting is fresh and quirky in a good way. The only thing I recommend is adding more accessibility such as a handrail in the bathroom.

Back for more. This time, a perfect score! Cocktails to start were Vodka rocks for me, and Blueberry Lavender Lemonade for my wife was outstanding. Guacamole was fresh and well flavoured with cilantro, Pico, pickled onion, with tajin chips. Beef birria tacos and Smash burger as mains were as good as we've had!. Fries were top shelf. You gotta eat here. Seriously, thee food, service, ambiance, and staff make a pleasant dinner.

Very cool space in downtown Cobourg. Menu has amazing appetizers and mains. We had the Brussels sprouts, a kicked up guacamole dip, both were in the best ever category! We had burgers and blackened chicken sandwiches and tacos. Served with fries and salad. Everything was delicious. Our server was very helpful and attentive. Must try this place.

We went here for a late lunch on a whim and I’m So glad we did! The vibe of the space is very cool, eclectic and fun. We both ended up getting the OG chicken sandwich and it was sooooo good! The photos don’t do it justice. The service was fast and friendly and we can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu! Thank you for a wonderful experience. Ps don’t hesitate to level up your side to truffle fries!

Wowie! You gotta try this place. I had the Bries burger and a fantastic salad. My wife had the Clubhouse and fries . Next visit I have to try that clubhouse.

When I read on the menu that they had rosemary lamb, I was very excited to try it. Had dinner at the El restaurant tonight, and was very disappointed when the lamb was presented to me, the plate was boring with no colour just brown and green, and the only vegetable was asparagus, not even an accompaniment of au jus to enjoy with the lamb, not worth the price on the menu and left unsatisfied.The goat cheese and beet salad was colourful, delicious and enjoyed.

I've eaten here three times so far. The food has been consistently good. The service can be a little spotty, with young and inexperienced servers. My most recent visit resulted in a nearly hour long wait for food, which was concerning. Our server explained that the kitchen was down to a single person. Overall the prices are comparable to similar restaurants and as I mentioned, the food has always been very good.
Parking: There is a free public lot one block east of the restaurant.
