When I read on the menu that they had rosemary lamb, I was very excited to try it. Had dinner at the El restaurant tonight, and was very disappointed when the lamb was presented to me, the plate was boring with no colour just brown and green, and the only vegetable was asparagus, not even an accompaniment of au jus to enjoy with the lamb, not worth the price on the menu and left unsatisfied.The goat cheese and beet salad was colourful, delicious and enjoyed.

I've eaten here three times so far. The food has been consistently good. The service can be a little spotty, with young and inexperienced servers. My most recent visit resulted in a nearly hour long wait for food, which was concerning. Our server explained that the kitchen was down to a single person. Overall the prices are comparable to similar restaurants and as I mentioned, the food has always been very good.

Parking: There is a free public lot one block...

Not a flawless first visit but definitely a good enough experience that I'll try it again.

Let's get the not-so-great parts out of the way: our table of three all wanted burgers but were only told upon ordering that they ran out of beef. So that would've been nice to know from the start. Washrooms needed some attention. And it was a long wait today... for our group and some others we noticed. Even just a small recognition of that during our wait...
