Terrible food; Would never order from them again!

Ordered the green curry had zero curry flavor or colouring and was just caked in corn starch. Rest of food was mediocre at best.

This owner should be ashamed of himself. We are not from here, and this was easily the most disgusting 'restaurant' I have ever stepped into. The food was not edible and went right into the garbage. We should have demanded a refund instead we are just glad we avoided food poisoning. The bathroom was not accessible, not that I would have wanted to go in it any way. The young man working the counter was polite though I feel bad for him. The health unit needs to close. If I could give a zero star, I would.

Small portion sizes. 1 small beef strip in the beef with veg. Egg rolls were over cooked. Lemon chicken was small and mostly batter.

Has lost its touch... order was very soaked in sauce no meat in the beef broccoli and rice isn't good no chicken for fried rice.. Sweet sour pork loaded with sauce no pork Lucky I got two small tiny pieces not worth 40$ for combination c4 horrible this no longer good the pride has become Short because of the love of money and I wouldn't eat here again..or 123 Chinese I was so sick after a meal there...

My recent visit to Five Star Chinese Restaurant in Cobourg was a mixed experience. While the food was decent, I couldn't ignore the cleanliness issues in the restaurant. It didn't meet my expectations in terms of hygiene standards. Given this, I'd recommend opting for takeout instead of dining in. The menu offers typical Chinese fare, and the prices are comparable to other establishments in town.

Decent food but I found a clump of dust in my food don't know how it got there but definitely ruined the rest of the meal.

Food was overpriced. Quality was very poor! There is no excuse for poor quality when restaurant is not busy! Never going there again!

This is hands down the best Chinese in town, I’ll only be ordering from here from now on. Everything was cooked perfectly! & the staff were friendly. Definitely 5 stars ?? ✨

Please deliver to the correct house next time. Check the number of the house and follow the instructions - and then make sure the photo you include has the number visible on it so I know which wrong house you've dropped my food at, at least. That way I don't have to walk up and down the street guessing.

😔Food has gone seriously downhill. Lemon and Sweet & Sour sauces coloured water, no taste or depth. Egg rolls burned, chicken balls dry and over cooked. Food really not edible let alone enjoyable.

By far the worst food I have ever had and I will literally eat anything! The pork taste like fish soap and the rice is no different then playdough. I actually can’t consume this garbage, I wouldn’t even feed my dog this dish. Not to mention only 2 small pieces of beef in the beef and vegetables.

Food is really good here. Unfortunately the owner doesn’t have enough pride apparently to clean the place. Can’t bring myself to ever eat here again. Doesn’t appear that the floor has been cleaned in years. Easily the dirtiest restaurant in Cobourg that I’ve ever seen
