We’ve been going to golden chopsticks since it was a tiny little restaurant on the corner of university and William st. Always great food and great service. So happy to see the growth of their business over the years. Never disappoints! Would highly recommend.

Honestly a little disappointed.
Katsu was fried to the point of being burnt and tough and the rice was all incredibly mushy and soft. I'd have to try the actual sushi next time but hard to recommend.

Such great vegan options. All the vegeatariam sushi was vegan, and the tempura was also vegan which is such a great find! Alysha was an awesome server and even gave us some complimentary food on the house! Would highly recommend!

Our server was so sweet but she had the entire restaurant of full tables. I felt so badly for her. Something in my meal had gluten even though I was told it didn’t. No GF markers on menu. They have GF soya but then little GF options. Food tastes amazing but if your celiac be careful I’m super sick today.

Very disappointed for what I paid. Won't be back. Salmon bento boxes for dinner. Broccoli florets were refrigerator cold with the salmon served on top. It was hot but not cooked fresh... dry and reheated. The rest of the dinner served in the box what felt with little care. No little side of wasbi and ginger... not even a tad.
The server forgot my order the minute she turned around from my table and didnt write it while taking it. We were there at 4:45 on Sunday. Place was not busy... she didn't clear dishes between the salad/soup and main course. Then when we asked for a take out box she's already brought the debit and I'm still putting my food away. Her timing terrible.
First time I've ever encountered bad food and service in Cobourg on the main street. Very let down...
