This place looks like your typical tourist trap from the outside, but you definitely don’t want to judge this book by its cover. (1) we ordered a hand scooped strawberry ice cream. The waffle cone was packed with a generous portion of ice cream which had the consistency and taste of proper old fashioned ice cream. The chicken strips were extremely well cooked, my compliments to the chef, I heard his summer job is locked in for life. I’m a big fan of the favourites board, looks like some serious hard work and dedication was put into that exquisite masterpiece. If you’re looking to stop by here, DO IT. You will not regret a thing. Our family visits Cobourg every summer and always drop by this place. We appreciate that they use a local dairy, Reid’s Dairy, and the young staff are friendly and attentive. It can get quite busy on weekends so give yourself some time to order.
