Stopped in yesterday to pick up a few baked items to take home. Cute little place that feels dated in a charming way. The guy behind the counter was pleasant, service was fast but there was only 1 customer at a table. There wasn’t a lot of selection, but we enjoyed the date square and the coconut raspberry tart.
This is my wife’s review, as she and her sister visited during their short stay in Cobourg. I always will support the local coffee shops while travelling. My sister and I popped in for a beverage. I got a chai latte which was fabulous! My sister just got a tea, but the show stopper was the date square! Made by the gentleman behind the counter! The best I have ever had! I'm always glad to find an espresso joint open when I'm in small towns. The owner/barista is not exactly chatty, but hey, it's 7am on a holiday Monday. The espresso is a nice balanced roast and my macchiato was made, coincidentally, just the way they do at my local shop with a big pile of foam like a meringue. Mmm. I really feel like I'm on holiday now.
