Mercury Chocolates & Gelateria

We have been to Mercury chocolates &Gelateria a few times now. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The gelato is delicious!!we love all the different flavours that they come up
With.there is usually at least one “seasonal” flavour. The chocolates were okay. I really enjoyed the raspberry one but I’m not really a big fan of dark chocolate which is all they offer. The pasta was really good. Easy to prepare. The tomato sauce is pretty good but I found it to be a bit expensive for what you get even though the tomatoes are from Italy. I rated atmosphere 4/5 just because it is a pretty tight space in there.
Overall it is a great place with great food though

Stopped in after I went next door to get some fresh bread for dinner. I truly found a gem. Ordered a latte, which was honestly the best latte I have ever had. Also purchased some fresh pasta. Let me tell you, my husband and I loved our fresh pasta and fresh sauce for dinner that night. Will definitely be returning. The girl behind the counter was very friendly. Can't wait to return. Thank you for making us feel welcomed and answering our questions.

Popped in to pick up a couple of thank you gifts. The chocolates were beautifully packaged, the recipients loved them and the staff member I dealt with was quick and lovely.

Mercury Chocolates never disappoints for excellent quality and flavour! The real star today was the lovely Liv. Without whom I would’ve never tried an Affogato. It’s 2 shots of espresso over gelato(I tried hazelnut/chocolate) and it is outstanding! Thank you Liv! It was such a pleasure to meet you! You really made our time in Cobourg that much more special??

Outstanding chocolate shop!Prices are on the high side, but that's to be expected given the high quality chocolate being offered.

Their gelato and chocolates are SO good - you can taste that they’re passionate about what they do and excited for people to enjoy it. The woman who served us was super kind and generous. We’d definitely try their hand crafted pastas next time.
