Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill

Went here today with my boyfriend and the tall, older, brunette lady making the burrito's had a terrible attitude, rude look on her face the entire time, barely spoke and gave way less portions and sauce then any other worker normally there, definitely made it a super uncomfortable experience. We ended up going home and adding sauces of our own so that it wasn’t so bland. If we ever go back and see her working , we will be turning right around and finding another location.

I go to mucho like at least maybe once a week and the one lady is just so rude like she has the most mean look on her face she doesn’t ever give a full scoop of chicken and not a lot of sauce. I most of the time I DoorDash it and they turn it off so people done DoorDash food from there yesterday I wanted to order around 4:30-5 and it wouldn’t work and yesterday they closed at 8:00 I think it’s just really annoying. The one lady clearly needs to be talked to or fired bc she isn’t nice at all. The rest off the people who work there are actually so nice

Portion size is smaller than other places. Rice is dry and hard, Top layer of the rice in serving bowl can be clearly seen very dry

One of my favourite go to places. The food and most of the staff is normally great. The issue is if you are being served by one staff member in particular, you can always expect to have less then regular size portions and half of the time, a side of attitude. When ordering a burrito I have to ask 2-3 times for more toppings or sauce as half a scoop is given to me originally. This is truly frustrating as all other staff members are truly amazing and always ensure everything is how the customers enjoy. The service and portions should be the same no matter who is serving you.

Place was filthy - tables and floor were not clean. Slow service and food portion for the price was sad. Will not go back again

The buritto is about 65% rice and hardly any meat. Asked for extra meat for 3$ and they gave me half a scoop. I started a conversation with the person who made the order and that is how they are trained to do it. He is actually a nice guy as are all the staff but unfortunately this is how the owners train their staff so I can't blame him for the owners wanting to minimize the meat in favor of filling up the buritto with rice, other places in town don't seem to do that. Might give this place another chance down the road but if this happens to you just keep in mind the employees are not at fault, it is the owners decision. I tried talking to the owner but they were dismissive and condescending and blamed me. I've had other mucho burittos from other franchises and they are not like this.

I have been a semi-regular customer of MB for at least a decade here in town, and at other locations. I've always found the food to be good for the price. Usually fresh and usually my burrito bowl comes home with me as its usually too much to eat. Tonight however, I was sorely disappointed in the quantity and quality of food I got. I don't eat dairy or meat but to get a bowl of what was mostly rice, was disappointing to say the least. The veggies looked and tasted like they had been sitting for hours-they were so thin, they almost looked shredded. Two tiny scoops of both beans, very frugal scoops of everything else. When someone doesn't want meat or cheese/sour cream in their food, be generous with the beans and guacamole. Just sayin. Even the new oval bowls seemed much smaller than their usual circular bowls. The server was polite and lovely but whomever taught him how to build a burrito or burrito bowl, failed miserably. I left paying over $18 for a Bubly and a burrito bowl that felt half full. Quite a disappointing visit to MB this evening.

The staff here are possibly the friendliest, nicest people in any restaurant in Cobourg. My experience is always excellent. Ingredients are fresh and the food is good, but it is absolutely the customer service that goes above and beyond.

Good food, great service.

Went with wife i had chicken burrito and she had steak bowl. Wife had to ask for another bowl to be made since something very hard inside food when eating. Thought maybe was corn so didn't get on second but turned out to be the rice with very hard pieces like rock. I had some in mine as well. She ended up throwing full bowl in garbage didn't want to bother person making again. They did try and fix problem but don't think will be going back.
