On a return trip from Toronto about 3 weeks ago, we happily discovered there was a Score pizza in Cobourg and stopped for a quick dinner. Unfortunately both our pizzas had partially burnt crust (bottom & edges). In a bit of a hurry so we decided to just eat around it. The manager stopped by our table and we noted the pizza was great except it was a bit overdone in areas and, to our surprise, she came back with a card for a complimentary pizza & drink. While completely unnecessary (after all, we did eat most of the pizzas) we did appreciate the gesture. Tonight, returning again from Toronto, we decided to use the complimentary card and stop in for dinner. Well - similar problem; our pizzas were again charred about 2/3 around so we just ate the good parts. When the manager stopped by we said it was fine but wondered if there was an issue with their oven given the charred crust situation and her response was that it was the nature of an open fire oven. Respectfully - absolutely not true. We have had many stone and wood fire artisan pizzas (including other Score Pizza locations) and they are never burnt. Browned and a bit crispy? Sure thing. Have no idea what the issue might be but, for us, this location is a no-go in future.

First time ordering and am not impressed. Portion is small and serviced was lacking. Not bad pizza but the BBQ chicken recommended was not to my liking. Service was slow even though there was no one before me. Was told it will take 10 minutes but it was not even in the oven after 10 minutes.

We were loyal Score diners before ownership changed. Just had our first pizza and sandwich under the new team tonight - amazing! The BBQ Chicken sandwich (which I always enjoyed before) was inceredible! Huge, on freshly baked bread, with all of the ingredients jampacked inside :) Best sandwich ever? Could be ... And the gluten-free crust pizza my wife always gets was excellent, too. Toppings were way more plentiful than before. Guys in the shop were super friendly. Will be ordering more very soon :)

Did pick up for dinner for 3 last night and it was great. Great White North, All Dressed and Spicy Hawaiian (yum!). Place is bright and clean but we were going home. Staff are friendly, engaging and make sure you make the most of your visit. If you want to build your own pizza there is a dizzying list of possible toppings. We'll be back.

Amazing food! Ordered a pizza, salad and sandwich online. Food was ready on time and was hot and fresh. The workers were friendly and asked about adding extra toppings and shared their own favourite combinations. Place was clean and welcoming. What a great experience!! Can’t wait to be back!!!
