Absolutely amazing first experience. We will be back!! All the rumours are true. Authentic Mexican flavours with a great atmosphere! My boyfriend (hot sauce obsessed) really enjoyed the chef’s special hot sauce…good to the last drop! 🥵 😂

My husband and I checked out Tezca after friends recommended it and it did not disappoint! We did the taco and tequila flights with a margarita each. The tacos are unbelievable. Incredible. They offered a selection of hot sauces and the mango hot sauce on the brisket taco was possibly the best taco I have ever eaten in my life- and I’ve eaten a LOT of tacos. We will be making this a regular date night spot 👏🏻

We made the trip from Peterborough to Cobourg based on a family member's recommendation. DEFINITELY worth the trip and looking forward to our next road trip to Tezca. Fresh, Flavours and Service (thanks Mike) were impeccable. And you must top it off with their desserts. You will not be disappointed.

The vibes and atmosphere are super cool, but I think that for the price, the portions and quality of the food could be better… I hate to be that person but the tacos are just so small for $7 each, at that point I could make a better one at home

Great service and maybe the atmosphere would be good for drinks and friends gathering but for food quality, definitely not worth the prices charged. Homemade taco shells were *meh at best. Bland, stiff and with an aftertaste. With some work on food quality and a reduction in price this restaurant might be worth a return visit to it once or twice a year, but unfortunately - can’t see it succeeding in this area. Food is just too easily replicated at home for a fraction of the cost and twice the quality.

We really hoped to love this place and thought maybe we just chose an off day to try it out. However based on some of the other reviews with similar complaints, it seems we weren’t the only ones who experienced the same service and left disappointed.
Pros: The pineapple paloma drink was decent as was the poached shrimp taco. The taco shells were nice and light.
Cons: We arrived at noon and waited an hour for our food to arrive. There was only one other table of two seated who also had waited a solid 45 mins for their meals. We weren’t checked on once during that time and there was zero acknowledgment or communication from the waitress about the lengthy wait. I could understand if it were busy but this was not the case. We only ordered two tacos and a chicken burrito. The portions are surprisingly small for the price and the burrito was lacking chicken and flavour.
For all the meals we’ve tried at the downtown Cobourg establishments, this restaurant has been the biggest let down so far and the only one to actually make me want to take the time to leave a review.
We wanted to love it, but unfortunately won’t be back.

Dined in and ordered the nachos, my partner ordered the breakfast burrito. Very pricey, waited a pretty long time for our food.
Don’t order the nachos…they’re way overpriced and somehow flavourless even though there are like 20 ingredients on them. Everything tasted sweet or didn’t taste like anything at all. Chicken was unseasoned, tortilla chips were bland. Don’t bother.

Best Mexican food I have ever had. Home made and perfectly put together. The flavors were undeniably delicious. I will be back and tell anyone I can to go. Go try this place out. Gluten free options as well.
Atmosphere is fab. Tacos were good. Bathrooms were clean. Music was great (excellent playlist). But the waiter brought us our food and never came back to refill water or check in on us. At all. It’s kind hard to tip someone who didn’t really provide any service, ya know?
The decor alone is worth checking out and the menu has a lot of options for a variety of dietary needs. ?
