I quite liked my french toast. The server was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend some fresh fruit as a side option (i understand it's a bit more $$$, but would be a health-conscious option).

A friend and I spent the day in Coburg today and wandered into The Buttermilk Cafe at lunchtime.
The interior is kinda old fashioned yet homey and I was pleased to see that the dining room was full.
We ordered the Mushroom soup (delicious) and the Vegetarian Tartine (also delicious). Service was amazing.

I came here with my daughter today… and regretted it. I got the club, she got the cheese quesadilla and poutine, everything was soggy and just gross. Needless to say I’ve been here before and it was amazing….i don’t think I’d go here again after today. the server did ask if everything tasted ok because we didn’t eat much of it before leaving but they were understaffed and it was busy. I didn’t want to hold her up. The place has a dingy smell to it too.

Had a wonderful lunch today with friends...the food was delicious and the service was superb. I will happily return and highly recommend.
Good food and great service with a 'home away from home' vibe. Nothing fancy but comfort food at its best. Bonus points for the relative quietness (louder groups have a private room).
