The Mill Restaurant & Golf Course

We had two out of town couples. We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere that allowed us to chat for ages. Thank you. Could not have been better.

We ate on the deck. The tables had a nice amount of space between them. Hostess and server were friendly and attentive. The burger and fries were excellent.

​I can't say enough about the Mill Golf Course & Restaurant! It absolutely exceeded all our expectations for the birthday golf party we hosted for my Dad. The entire experience was a seamless blend of perfect course conditions, fantastic food, and truly outstanding service. ​The food was incredible, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our large group. I highly recommend The Mill for any special event or even just a fantastic day out.

Beautiful venue and view. A small golf course on site. There is a bar downstairs and dinning area upstairs. Ample patio seating. Staff are nice and food was simple but good. It was not busy when I went so service was quick.

Food was fantastic. From starter to main to dessert. Little disappointed that when I booked the table and was asked if it was for an occasion, I answered "Yes, Anniversary. " Not once was it mentioned by the serving staff or anything special was done to table.

On a recent mystery tour that led us to Cobourg, my wife and I were looking for a great independent restaurant for an early dinner. We stumbled upon The Mill, which looked interesting since it was part of a golf course. We checked out the menu online and were impressed by the reasonable prices.

We were thrilled to find an open table for two on their lovely patio. Our server, Carly, was fantastic. She gave us some great recommendations, pointing out popular dishes and what other diners were enjoying. Based on her suggestions, we both ordered sandwiches. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was packed with delicious corned beef, sauerkraut, and dill pickle. It was a really authentic flavor, and my only wish was for a little more meat. My wife ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich and absolutely loved the grilled chicken breast and the excellent sweet potato fries that came with it.

I paired my meal with a dark lager from Northumberland Hills brewery, and my wife enjoyed a great glass of Australian red wine. The atmosphere was incredible, surrounded by lush greenery and the beautiful, lovingly restored architecture of the 1830s-era mill.

We had such a wonderful experience that we're already planning to go back the next time we're in Cobourg. I would highly recommend The Mill to anyone passing through town.

We had a company golf day at the Corse and it could not have gone beter. Friendly staff and great food nice cores in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend playing a game and enjoying the great food offed. The staff was always asking if anything was needed spoke very polite and treated us all so great highly recommend restaurant and golf course. We all had a great time and are looking forward to next year doing it again.
