This place is an absolute dump.
Was served the wrong food. Server was rude when I tried to clarify. Server conversing to regulars yelling across the restaurant. Actually gossiping about people they mutually loathed. Served me a drink in a filthy glass. FILTHY. 3 rings from it not being washed and dirty mitt prints all over it. And dusty. Husband's veggies were so freezer burnt they were like sawdust. I wouldn't eat here again if they paid me. Red head server.... worst server I've EVER SEEN. and I served for 15 years.

Absolutely the worst place I've eatan breakfast if you want to call it that. Ordered the pancakes and they were 10.97, when they came they were 3, 4 inch diameter pancakes was up sold strawberries and bananas which there were 4 little slices of each bananas were 3.00 and strawberries were 3.25 so 16.22 for 3 pancakes that were small and sucked. When I poured the syrup on them water came out of it whoever runs it, watered down the syrup, Man how cheap can you get. As said by others Waitress was very nice. Will never be back here again.

Very friendly server, she was very nice. However the manager has no manners and is extremely cheap. I've been to many winpys restaurants, this one cheaps out on portion sizes more than others. The egg omelette had barely any feta in it.
Maybe the server should run the restaurant 😉

Had lunch there this week. It wasn't busy. There were 3 customers, including us. Unfortunately, it took a very long time to get my food. My husband and son were well into their meal before mine arrived. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap, and when it finally showed up, there was a very, very small amount of sauce in the bottom of the wrap, which was otherwise tasteless. The side of home fries were great, though. My wrap took a while, apparently because the chefs, which I assume are the owners, were too busy yelling and arguing in the open kitchen for all to hear. Then one of them went outside to yell at a window washer guy right in front of the window we were sitting at. We felt like we had pissed him off just for coming in to eat. The waitress was amazing and very pleasant in the midst of the tense atmosphere. I mean, I know it's for sale, but have some decorum when you have customers for gosh sakes. 😐

Watched the owner and server walk around touching dirty dishes, cleaning clothes and cash people out… then serve food without washing their hands. No cleaner was used to wipe tables, just a damp rag off the counter that doubles as a place for the server to wipe her dirty fingers on.

1 other customer in the restaurant yet we had to wait 15 mins to place an order. Ordered a chicken ceaser wrap that showed up with half a chicken finger in it and was mostly soggy ceaser salad. When waitress told cook, he laughed. And yes they still charged me full price for the meal that was only half eaten. The booths seats are all torn and the place is dirty. I felt horrible for the waitress as you could tell she was embarrassed but clearly her hands were tied. The owner actually had the audacity to thank us as we were leaving. Never again.

Always an excellent experience. Of course I am picky and I want what I want when I want it. Of course it helps when most staff knows what I want before I do laugh out loud. Obviously it's not my first day attending Wimpys Cobourg and certainly will not be my last. I don't want to mention staff members names because I would feel terrible if I forgot Somebody by mistake. thank you Wimpy's Cobourg staff for always nailing it.
