Three and Half Stars ActuallyThis was a cute little place with an interesting menu. However, the prices were a bit silly. Six thin rounds of baguette with butter will set you back $5.00. We had the chevre salad which lacked flavour. The mac and cheese was delicious but the penne was overcooked and falling apart. Service was friendly but a little slow. We shared the chevre salad and the cheeseburger mac and cheese, no dessert. one beer and the baguette and our bill was $93.56 which is pretty outrageous.

My husband and I frequent Cabin Bistro for lunch often. Every meal we have had is exceptional. Because it is all made personally by one chef, the wait is so worth it. The chocolate mousse with roasted marshmallows is a must! Enjoy!!

We had lunch there and was extremely pleased . Mac'n'cheese and lobster rolls were excellent. Plenty of food ..in fact we couldn't finish. Doggie bags for all.

We were there for a laddies lunch, we didn’t have a reservation but were able to squeeze in!The burger was amazing!! And it seemed like it wasn’t as expensive as I would have thought. Also it is a pricy place. Great place for a special lunch!

Very enjoyable meal. I had the trout, my wife the beef burgers. Delicious. Everything clearly made fresh and with passion.

The best chef in town, serving a great complement of locally grown foods and we do live in a "foodie" area.A great meal.

Absolutely amazing! I would give it an extra star if I could. The quality and freshness of the food and the creativity behind each dish is evident. I love the fact that they also use local ingredients and serve their local drafts as well. The flavours of the mains were amazing and the service was superb! Will always make this restaurant a "must go" when I'm in Collingwood!

Must try lunch spot in Collingwood. Try the grass fed burger and you won’t be disappointed.

Nice venue, comfortable and small. We were excited to try it as food enthusiasts but disappointing in the end. Service was good and attentive but.... crab cake sliders appetizer was quite average, soup was good. Mains of trout and duck had good flavors and seemed nicely executed but were served pretty much COLD. Could not understand how this could be because we were the only table other than one other couple for our entire visit. Beef burgers were actually not ground but seemed to be whole pieces of meat. The flavors were good but mine was actually gristly in the center and hard to eat. If you are going to serve a "steak sandwich" then it needs to be tender enough to eat that way. Burger portions were also on the small side. Side of "chips" appeared to be lays chips with a bit of dry cheese sprinkled on top in a tiny cup...underwhelming and a big lost opportunity. Was a birthday so not the occasion to actually send cold entrees back....would have seriously spoiled the mood for what was almost a private seating. The topper is that it was quite expensive so the whole combo left us disappointed.

I'm glad most people love the place, I can't get over the fact, I was served store bought potato chips in a bowl with my meal. That is not too creative in my view, especially for the price you pay in this restaurant. Good for them if they customers are happy with it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal Saturday. So tasty and good. The service was great as well. It was a great way to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. We will most definitely return.
