Atmosphere could have been better if we had been sat outside or a better inside table. Place could use a little Reno. They wre very busy and reservation was made day of, a couple of hours prior. Glad we were able to get the reservation as I had been wanting to try this restaurant. The food did not disappoint! Fabulous. Four dining bill was $350. with tip, did include a $70.00 bottle of wine. Well worth it!!

Poppy’s French Bistro was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The interior was beautiful and the service was excellent. The food was just perfect. I ordered the onion soup and crème brûlée. The onion soup was a bit sweet and very rich in flavour. The crème brûlée was creamy, with fresh fruit on top and delicious. Overall, this restaurant was just amazing.

Great building! The food was very good. I had the oysters and a salad niçoise. We sat in a private room, away from the main dining area. I appreciated the separation for our event, although the acoustics were terrible, and it was very difficult to hear conversations due to the echoing voices.

An Absolute Gem! Poppy’s French Restaurant completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, elegant atmosphere made us feel like we were tucked away in a little corner of Paris. The food was phenomenal—every dish was full of flavour and beautifully plated. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put real heart into their cooking. Last night my wife and I had the most amazing dinner at Poppy's!
We shared two appetizers, one salad, two main courses and a piece of the cake of the day. Each of these dishes were perfect. None of these were new to us but the flavours and even the presentations were unique. Each dish had interesting combinations of flavours to make it memorable: some subtle and none overbearing.
We returned to Poppy’s for our 35th anniversary and it was perfect. Welcoming staff, beautifully prepared food and having Rebecca as our server was a bonus with her upbeat and energetic banter. She took the great food experience to an overall great experience. Thank you team for another memorable evening. See you next time as we work our way up the list.
