I had a very bad experience at 168 Sushi. I waited almost an hour for the food, and unfortunately the sushi didn’t taste fresh. The fish had a strong smell and was cold, and later I felt sick and threw up. I was really disappointed and hope they improve the food quality and service.

Did a reservation for 8 party of people, 5 HOURS prior, only for us to be put in the corner for a table of 6. and we have to wait 15 minutes before getting sat at. This literally just shows how irresponsible their management is because wdym you’re not aware that there will be a big group coming and there’s no proper table for them?

168 used to be good ,but most of the food taste sweet..they make sushi so big,teriyaki so sweet..the tempura and soup i can say taste good over all its not that bad but its not what it used to be...the only good thing they added unli bbq grill and sushi combination

I called ahead for their lunch buffet and mentioned that I may be a bit late due to traffic, and they said that's fine. I arrived five minutes after 3 pm and they said I can only do the dinner buffet. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. It's almost like they're not human and are robots. Although I've eaten here before and the food is of good quality, I can't recommend it due to the terrible service. Instead, support better AYCE sushi restaurants like Ichiban. Don't give these guys your hard-earned money.

Update: 168 now added table bbq. The prices are shown in the photo. Haven't tried the bbq but it seems that they have a worse selection of meats than other Japanese bbq places.
This place got so much worse over time...they used to have many appetizer options at their salad bar, but not anymore. The service wasn't attentive at all, they work like machines bringing food and picking up the plates - no smile, no small talk, nothing. We had to go around asking to bring some napkins and water. The green tea which was always free, now is charged at $5 plus tax - incredible! I don't think it is worth going there since the price is high but the quality of the whole experience just went down. Too bad
