Delicious croissants. Prices were alright, about $7 a pop for fancier croissants.

The location is out of the way - would be worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity. The plaza doesn’t have enough parking spots so took some time to wait for available parking.

Their system for fulfilling orders seem to be chits manually lined up by the cashier. I witnessed several people behind me get their orders before me, but the older gentlemen (the owner?) insisted that the orders were filled first come first serve.

Their matcha drink really tasted disgusting. I believe it came with oat milk as the default option, but i was too shy to ask to remake my drink. Don't be me!! HAHA. So you should definitely switch the usual choice of milk that comes with that drink for a better matcha experience! BUT that downfall does not trump their excellent customer service. This place has extremely kind, warm, and pleasant people working there. And to me, that's all i need to keep coming back. See you again soon Bartholomew <3

The flat white is good and the butter croissant is excellent. Definitely will come back again! A long queue today but worth it!

2 loaves of bread and 1 sandwich cost $37.00!!!
No matter how good, this is far too much!!
I will never be back.

To respond to your reply, I did not make any lie (aka false statement) and resent your accusations!

I gave $20 cash and the man at the checkour said I still owed $17, which I paid with debit. This is a total of $37!

It gives me no pleasure to say something that isn't true.

I forget how I initially learned of Bartholomew, but it's been closer to a year now that I've been trying (and failing) to make it out. Well, today was finally the day, and wow, I was blown away by all that I had. The classic croissant, which was what I was most eager to try (being something of a croissant connoisseur), was the perfect marriage of flakey, crispy, and doughy. So often with these artisanal/small batch spots, I've found the croissants lean too much in the direction of overly flakey/crispy... and while I certainly appreciate those traits, I definitely also want *some* doughiness/chew, and Bartholomew's croissant, again, achieves the perfect balance. Next time I'll be sure to try the double-baked almond and/or pistachio croissants, though I generally prefer a plain one (or a savoury cheese one, which I didn't see on offer). We also had the espresso croissant and apple crumble cheesecake, both of which were spectacular and not overly-sweet, which I really appreciated. I'm actually super keen to try the orange chocolate danish next time- as a fan of Terry's (chocolate oranges), that sounds right up my alley. Finally, the mortadella pistachio sandwich... wow, the star of the show for me (okay, tied with the classic croissant)... It's not necessarily a big bold flavour type sandwich, but is more about texture and subtlety, but of course still offers an array of great, complimentary, flavours. The bread was absolutely perfect, and the marriage of thin-sliced/shaved mortadella with the pistachios and the, not sure what it was, burrata? Man, what a dynamite combo- easily a new favourite sandwich of mine in the 416/905. Definitely looking forward to exploring other sandwiches here, but also more of their savoury items in general. Really glad to have finally made it over today, and await my next visit with baited breath- perhaps a sandwich + danish tomorrow, as I'm staying around the corner for the next little while. Brilliant spot, and (so far) much prefer it to the products at Amadeus, which were the nearest comparison by where I lived (though they also had a vast array of cakes and other deserts).

Overrated and way too crowded and plenty of rude disrespectful people budding in line blocking the exit and nobody says anything.

This is what I still got from Bartholomew in Aug but now things went bad so fast maybe because of popularity. Now the barista can’t even froth the milk properly with right temperature and foam, not to mention any normal latte art. Also the cashier was kinda rude compared to before. I guess when a store becomes popular this is what will happen. Sad.

This ‘coffee’ shop has really bad coffee. I have gave them many chances because they use De Mello beans but it’s just an insult to coffee. Their cashiers and owner are incredibly rude and unprofessional. Zero effort and no cleanliness. Their rating must be fake. Food is dried and overpriced for its low quality.
