I’ve lived in Vaughan for two years, and this has always been my favorite chicken place. I ordered from here regularly and often recommended it to others. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing. It felt like the recipe or kitchen staff may have changed. In the past, a large chicken order came in a full box with generous portions and even some wedge potatoes. Today, there were no potatoes, the portions and chicken pieces were smaller, and the chicken was overly salty. I really hope this was just an off day. I’d love to come back next time and write a happy review saying my favorite chicken place is back.

We visited Chicken Plus in Vaughan and were immediately drawn to the bright, modern interior. The open counter setup and bold CHICKEN PLUS signage give the space a clean, contemporary feel, and everything—from the prep area to the seating—looked well-organized.
We ordered the cream cheese fries and the snowing cheese chicken, and both looked just as good as they tasted. The fries arrived generously loaded, with thick-cut fries smothered in a rich, creamy sauce and finished with a generous layer of cheesy topping and herbs. It was indulgent, comforting, and perfect for sharing. The snowing cheese chicken didn’t disappoint either—crispy and evenly coated with savory-sweet cheese powder.
The portions were substantive, especially noticeable with the fries, which could be shared amongst a small group. Everything was served hot and fresh.
They offer table service, and the staff were very friendly and polite, which added to the experience.
The restaurant was clearly clean and well-maintained, and we also noticed a unique décor touch—a refurbished Tudor Crown K3 telephone box kiosk. This playful feature evokes the classic Spanish film LA CABINA (The Telephone Booth), bringing a sense of nostalgia and cinematic charm that adds character to the space. The booth immediately catches your eye and makes for a fun, memorable photo spot while enjoying the delicious, hearty food.”

As someone who loves Korean fried chicken, and this franchise, my goodness I've never had a delivery order with like minimal amount of sauce for the chicken. Not only that their batter was horrible compared to what I had at other locations, why would you cheap out on the sauce? Usually, even for delivery, it's usually soaking with the sauce under the chicken when you get them in a box. They sent me chicken with pieces that had like 20-30% of the pieces not even covered in the sauce 😂 Please don't ruin the franchise's reputation.

Paid $58 for this meal and it was extremely disappointing. The food didn’t taste good at all — not even close. The cheese was just thrown on top and wasn’t even melted, which says a lot about the effort put into the dish.
For this price, the quality was unacceptable. The food lacked flavor, felt poorly prepared, and definitely wasn’t worth the money. Presentation can’t make up for bad taste.
Very overpriced for what you get. Won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place.
