10/10!!!??? Flambeaux Restaurant is definitely going to be our go-to place for our Caribbean cravings. Not only was the service phenomenal, the food was to die for. Our favorite dish had to be the J*** Chicken Pizza. Such a genius combo!! You definitely need to try the oxtail as well, believe us when we say the meat just falls off the bone? We can't wait to come back!

Saw Flambeaux Restaurant on the way to Ikea and decided to try the restaurant since I’m curious with Caribbean food. Living in Canada for so long, yet I’ve never tried Caribbean food before. Decided to get the Quarter J*** Chicken meal for takeout and loving the taste! The j*** chicken leg is succulent and has a nice aroma. If you have a knack for hot sauce, please request for their hot sauce! The hot sauce gives a yummy zing to the j*** chicken! Will I come back? Yes, I will ?

This is a late review. I first know about this Caribbean restaurant in July. I was on my way home from IKEA Vaughan and the Open Now sign caught my attention. It was easy to notice from Highway 7. They are open until late surprisingly, which makes things convenient for me. So I ordered for take-outs. The staff was friendly and care to explain the different menu items. They are Trinidadians specifically and I'm excited to try Caribbean food. It's a pleasure to be the first couple ones to leave a review here on Yelp. Their Caribbean menu is rich in variety. I ordered something familiar to me, the Oxtails platter and the Jamaican Patties since both happen to be my favourites in general for Caribbean food. The oxtails meat were tender and falling off the bone. The oxtails stew is simply delicious. The portion is amazing, I had two tray slots filled with the oxtails. The rice is filling. I'm very particular about rice and this one got my approval. It's a lovely dish, and I would order again. The Jamaican patties are surprisingly stuffed and evenly cooked. I had tried a veggie patty from a Caribbean place in downtown Toronto and that looks pale and slim in comparison to this. Had a pleasant experience and would definitely come for another visit, since now they are open for indoor dining too. 5-Star Flambeaux!

I came to Flambeaux before and was impressed with their quarter j*** chicken meal. Came back again last week for a takeout and was intrigued to try their J*** Pork Pizza. I'm pleasantly impressed by the taste of this fusion take on the Caribbean food. The j*** pork pizza is made fresh on ordering, and the wait wasn't too long either. The j*** pork pieces on the pizza are chunky yet so tender. I love the addition of pickled hot pepper on the j*** pork pizza, cutting the richness from the cheese. I will also praise the pizza bread since it is fluffy and not too dry. We got home late due to traffic jam yet the pizza isn't hard to bite. I don't usually eat Caribbean food, but Flambeaux's j*** chicken leg meal and j*** pork pizza make me want to return to try their oxtail stew

Flambeaux was awesome. Food was delicious and the service was top notch. We tried the j*** chicken, the goat curry roti and the j*** chicken/pork pizzas. All items were a hit. Definitely coming back soon.

The quarter chicken meal tastes really good! It tastes like a home cooked meal, you can tell a lot of care goes into it.The chicken itself is very well seasoned, absolutely delicious with a bit of BBQ sauce. There's a nice selection of options too including pulled pork sandwiches and roti.

This is a 1.5 star review. This restaurant opened recently so I decided to try pick up through Uber eats. I ordered a bone-in curry goat. The order was supposed to come with a curry potato and chickpeas, but they forgot it. In fact there was an empty spot in the take out tray (see photo). The goat itself was horrible. There was little curry flavour and it was too salty. The portion was tiny for a $13 dish. I could probably eat at least 2 portions and still be hungry. The only redeeming quality was that the staff saw my missed call and called me back. They were very polite and apologetic about the missing food, though didn't do anything practical except tell me to get a refund through Uber eats. The missing food mistake can be forgiven but I won't be going back due to the quality and portion of the meal.

So HAPPY you opened in our area. Really enjoyed your beef roti wrap. Generous portion and filling. Glad you recommended the doubles. First time trying and will order again.

Among the best doubles I've ever tasted. Their j*** chicken dish is pretty good too. Great service as well. Definitely going back. :)

Chicken roti had a nice amount of spice + very flavorful! J*** chicken leg is nice and juicy with one of the best coleslaws on the side! Portions are very generous as well!

I can’t give 5 stars because the description of the food was a bit misleading...the “trini style corn soup” throwed me off badly, and as a trini I’m offended (see pics of the soup) however, i convinced myself to actually taste it as I was going to write this review, AND THE SOUP TASTED REALLY GOOD!! It just doesn’t look trini style at all...I also ordered the stewed pork with dumplings and it was amazing!! I will order from this restaurant again and I will advise you to give them a try also.

After numerous attempts to find a Georgian restaurant to our taste we’ve finally done that! The food is of high quality and authentic, thanks to 40 years of chef’s experience (as we were told). The restaurant itself is hidden by Highway 7’s overpass and surrounded by auto shops. One needs to park either near Harvey’s on the left and use the stairs down or around the corner on the right. Simplistic interior in Soviet style, relaxed (but fast, proactive and friendly) service, well picked menu of mainly Georgian, but also other famous dishes from ex-USSR republics. Some are the best and closest to originals that can be found in GTA, i.e. dolma, cheburek, shashliki, mushroom julienne. Khinkali here are worth mentioning - dough is strong and rather thin, they keep the soup inside and the form. A very rarely offered fish kindzmari was made of sturgeon - really great, even with less vinegar and herbs than in Georgia. Some well known Georgian wines are on the wine list, most of which were sold out. Drink menu was also exhausted, we only had sad selection of carbonated drinks and prepackaged juices - home made lemonade was over.
