Gordo's Diner - Breakfast & Brunch in Vaughan

First time trying poutine, got gordo's. It was a good first experience. Would try again

WOW! What a gem!

The decor - including the red vinyl seating - was vibrant, demonstrating that everything is very well-maintained and cared for.

The staff were attentive, without being over-bearing. They were very pleasant and friendly.

The food (I had the Western Burger) was served quickly, and piping-hot. And it was delicious.

I will return, for sure! THANKS, GORDO!

Went here for breakfast the food and service were great. I liked the atmosphere but wish the juke boxes worked.

Had a burger with fries. The pretty average, didn't like fries so much.
Service was great, waiters were attentive and helpful. You can get coffee refill, or hot water refill for tea.
Location is convenient if you stay in the area with plenty of parking spots and walking distance to subway and hwy 7.

While waiting for my Western Omelet Sandwich Tackout ( by the way it was 8 out of 10 for lack of ham, peppers and onions, BUT still was delicious) . I saw the cook seperating the egg-yoke from the white by picking, shaking them with bare-fingers in some order cooking pan, then wiped his fingers .
I don't know about you guys, but if that what I saw, what else happens there on the hygiene level. it was my first visit and haven't been there since, not planning to.

This place is what we all wish Wimpy's was, but fails to be.
It has that "been here since the 60's" feel.
All of their food was on point.
Their coke float is pure joy.
I'd dock points for their booth jukeboxes being non-operational, but our server did offer a song and dance in lieu of, so there really wasn't anything to be disappointed with here.

Beautiful decor in here...you will feel like you're temporarily stepping into a different era. Great energy and chemistry between staff. Our server had a beautiful soul as well.

Good enough for a brunch or lunch, i can't speak for breakfast, reasonably priced, no alcohol unfortunately but overall good atmosphere
