The BBQ here was full of flavor with a lovely smoky touch that I really enjoyed. The ribs stood out with their finger-licking dry rub while the brisket taco was moist, tender, and packed with flavor. I finished off with a small portion of burnt ends which paired perfectly with my old fashioned. The bourbon selection was impressive and definitely something I’ll have to explore more next time when I am not driving.

Be sure to call before you show up to make sure they’re open. Google says open till 9, we show up at 4pm and they’re completely closed / all chairs are up, no sign or anything, nobody picking up phone. Food looks like it could have been good but sadly didn’t get to have any.

Tried the Picnic Platter for 2 and it did not disappoint! The tray came piled with smokey tender meats: the brisket (both sliced and fatty 🤤) was juicy with just the right amount of char, the jalapeño cheddar sausage had a satisfying snap and subtle spice, the pork ribs were glazed and fall-off-the-bone good, and the pulled pork leaned sweet and saucy without being too heavy.
The sides held their own: creamy mac & cheese, potato salad, crispy sweet potato fries, crunchy slaw, worked as the perfect mop for all that BBQ sauce.
We also grabbed the Nashville fried chicken bites and it was soooo crunchy, seasoned all the way through, with that peppery kick. Low-key dangerous because I couldn’t stop eating them.
12/10 would risk the food coma for Hank Daddy’s again.

Was looking for GF chicken wings for my wife and found this spot. Wife absolutely loved the wings. I had the brisket plate with slaw and fries. Brisket was incredibly tender and flavourful. Definitely going back.

Haven't been here for years and I have to say I think I've been missing out. I had the brisket sandwich with fries and street corn, all were great. The meat was delicious and plenty of it, this really satisfied my craving BBQ brisket. The server was also great.

I had a surprisingly great time at this BBQ house. The large, open room feels inviting, and the wood touches and props sell an authentic American BBQ vibe. We ordered the Mr. Turner Platter, enough for four. The ribs were the standout—perfectly tender with bold, smoky flavour. I also loved the brisket, served sliced or chopped, and the sausages in two styles: original and jalapeño cheddar. Our server let us sample both; the cheesy one won me over. The vinegar-based slaw was fresh and cut the richness nicely, and the hand-cut fries gave us something to munch on. The cornbread was a bit dry, and the mac and cheese was A-OK. Loved the crunchy pickles and pickled onions—they punch up every bite. Staff were super helpful. Tried all the sauces; favourite was the sweet original, with Nashville hot a close second. They don’t over-sauce, letting the meat shine. Worth the trip.

Wanted to get some BBQ on Saturday night north of the city and this place did not disappoint!
Ate with 3 homies, got the picnic platter for 4 and some extras on the side. The brisket was so tender and juicy. The ribs were no slouch in the tenderness department either. The Mac and Cheese was also very good. I highly recommend having the honey mustard sauce with the Jalapeño Cheddar sausage. Service was impeccable and don't forget the bottomless ice tea. Definitely will be back!
