I usually order a matcha creme brulee. Normally, I enjoy it and would give it a solid 9/10.
Recently, though, the matcha quality has gone down. The matcha flavour used to be strong but now it's barely present. I'm not sure if it's just old/expired or if they switched to a bad brand. It's to the point where I don't enjoy the drink at all.
And it's not just the matcha creme brulee - the decreased matcha taste is also consistent with the other matcha drink options.

I used to be a loyal customer but they have regressed in their service. During my last visit, the worker was really rude and dismissive when I asked questions about the menu. While waiting for my purchases, I asked for a cup of water as it was a hot day. The worker said this establishment charges for water. CHARGING FOR TAP WATER IS WILD. I was shocked. That is a very bad business practice and I never had an issue asking for water in any restaurant or food business in the local area. I would recommend any of the other bubble tea places in the nearby area.

Enjoyed Green Milk Tea with Osmanthus Jelly on my first visit to M Cha Bar. It was tasty, although the osmanthus jelly flavor was too subtle. There are lovely floral decor and several indoor seats available.

The staff don't speak English well in general. Been here at least 8 times. The ig post said they had boardgames, but there were like 4 of them, and the staff said I had to pay extra to play at first, but when I asked them how much, she didn't know and went to ask another staff. The other staff came and asked which one I wanted to play (she was sighing and rolling her eyes as if I was being a Karen for asking about boardgames) and she handed me one but the box was very sticky with lots of dust stuck to it so we didn't bother playing. The most recent visit was not too bad but still very hard to communicate with staff. Like I was asking the difference between milkshake and slushee but she didn't speak English well and didn't sound confident in her answer (not sure if she even understood me). Blueberry cheesecake gelato was expensive but good.
Also, M cha bar's pop-up at CN Blue's concert was a mess too. I told the person taking order and person making the order EACH TWiCE that I want crystal boba to be replaced by regular tapioca and they nodded and even repeated after my request, cross-confirming. But my 11 dollar bbt cup had crystal boba and I had other friends waiting for me so I just had to leave. I don't think their staff in general speak English well. Always so hard to communicate basic stuff to them
Their points system were down since last September or October, we were asked to write down our names and phone number on a piece of paper, so they can manually add the points back once the system is upgraded. I was quite skeptical about it, but we insisted on going as we loved their bubble teas a lot. However , we have been noticing the inconsistency of the quality of their drinks. We were disappointed after trying couple times. Now, their points system is upgraded, but our points which were accumulated during the time were not their system. We were told by one of the employee to address this matter to the owner. The owner acknowledged and promised would work on it and get back to us. Unfortunately, we never heard from the owner again. Therefore, we decided not going to there anymore.

This place is terrific, with fun and attractive games while you wait for your drink! The drinks are worth the money because of how tasty they are. (recommend )
