I was travelling through Vaughn and I was looking for a bite to eat in the area other than fast food! Saw it pop up on maps and thought ANY place named Mom's Bistro should be pretty good.... Well here we go!!! From the moment you step into the place you are greeted as if you have been lifelong friends or family! I mean I don't even get that kind of welcome FROM life long friends for that matter! Lol Everything on the menu boards sounded amazing and the visible souvlaki with all the fixings tantalizing you tastebuds behind spotlessly clean glass. Decisions decisions.. At suggestion from my gracious host I decided to try the schnitzel sandwich. What a fantastic introduction to their culinary options! I was in such awe of its size and presentation that I totally forgot to take a picture! This is a true mom and pop owned/operated bistro and Im telling anyone that happens to read this to GO! Rather than eating around Vaughn Mills take the 10 min drive and treat yourself to enjoy a moment with 2 wonderful people who have customer experience and food service down to a T! We need to support places like this because they are few and far between and struggle to keep their doors open in times like these! 🤩😍

Hidden gem! Great food and excellent service. The owners were friendly and helpful as we couldn’t decide what to order. Their schnitzel sandwiches are HUGE, and the owners were honest and recommended we share it. Looking forward to going back to try other items on their menu!

We ordered the classic pork schnitzel and one side order (which comes with 3 items), and WOW — the schnitzel was literally bigger than my head! Everything was super fresh, well-seasoned, and the portion sizes were incredible for the price. Great value.
The service was phenomenal — truly that warm, friendly mom-and-pop feeling. I shared the meal with a friend, and they even split everything in half and plated it separately for us without us asking. Such a thoughtful touch.
1000% recommend. My friends and I were simply passing through the area and needed a place to eat and I’ll forever feel grateful that this is where we stopped.
The menu was simple which is the first clue that the meal will be delicious, and the welcome we received was clue number 2! There was so much kindness in how we were greeted and for me that’s almost more important for me in a dining experience.
I ordered the falafel wrap and it was one of the absolute best falafels I have ever had. The balance of flavours and textures was absolutely perfect. I will be thinking about this wrap when having any other falafel forever. The only comparable experience was in my neighbours home - made with as much love and care as at this wonderful restaurant.
My friends had the schnitzel and a few sides, they devoured everything.
Truly, thank you to the people at mom’s bistro for this. I’ll never forget the kindness you offered me while here, it felt rejuvenating to have such a genuine human experience. I hope to see you again, Tarah!

Cam for breakfast as i wanted to try a new spot. Breakfast seemed like a regular good old fashioned breakfast. Nothing fancy, but it taste really good. Bacon cooked perfectly with crisp edges.
I think i have to come back as I’m reading reviews and looks like the pork schnitzel is what people have to order.
Service was top notch. So friendly and super nice. Even gave me a to go cup for coffee and just poured me a fresh cup.
Parking is fairly easy as i went mid week for breakfast and it is located in a commercial / industrial plaza and i had no issues finding parking.
