I love the banh mi from Nguyen Huong but I do not recommend coming to this location. The service is so bad. The ladies here are extremely rude, especially if you’re not Vietnamese.

The freshest banh mi’s in the city! These ladies load the subs up with lots of fresh veggies and butter and pate. Can’t go wrong for $5 cash and no tax! Make sure you clarify whether you prefer spicy or non spicy. Additionally, you can get other delicious Vietnamese items like fresh rolls or meatball sausage rolls, banh bao, or banh cuốn, all under $5 as well!

I’m fed up with pre-packaged sandwiches that taste day old. I come around noon time and it is not busy at all. Make your sandwiches fresh in front of your customers! Warning patrons! Please ask for freshly made sandwiches, do not take pre-packaged sandwiches. They are definitely not fresh!

This place is my go to when I’m having a craving for banh mi. Cindy is so sweet and always makes the sandwiches with care. I highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: There’s a vegetarian option and they will make the sandwich however you like it.Kid-friendliness: Always greeting my son when we visit.

Delicious and cheap. My favourite stop for a light lunch when I'm in the area. The bbq pork and the honey garlic sausage sandwiches are my favourite.
Great banh mi for sooo cheap! $4 for the assorted is such a good deal.

Unfortunately I became violently ill after eating an assorted sandwich.Vomiting and dierea. Lasted over 12 hours.Pre made subs are not refrigerated.Be careful of food temperature even other items left out on counter.

We like to visit a lot of places in the GTA that serve Banh Mi. This is one of my favourites! They also have a location downtown that my family likes, but it’s a further drive for us. The sandwiches are really good and ingredients are always fresh when we’re there. This place has quick service and a lot of selection. Not sure why people experience rudeness because when I go there the ladies are all friendly saying good morning or hello! They have a lot of Vietnamese ready made food options that I don’t know the names of, but the ladies there explain what they are when I ask. We like the pork rolls in wrapped in leaves that are usually by the register. The large sesame balls are also really good too. I usually go in the late morning or early afternoon and the food is fresh! If you go too early not all the prepared foods are ready yet so the refrigerator display are sometimes a bit empty. I would say to aim to go there around noon or later to see the full selection of food options. In summary, I recommend this place!
When I’m in the area I always stop by for banh mi (Vietnamese subs). For the price of $4, it’s a decent deal and easy lunch! I always get the regular banh mi here. The food is usually consistent (sometimes more or less pickled carrots), which is okay with me! I always pick up if I’m coming back home from visiting Toronto, or if heading on a road trip it’s easy to eat on the road or at the beach!I always enjoy supporting a local business. The atmosphere scored low as it is a dated and small space inside a grocery store, but it still serves its purpose. The ladies here are quick and efficient for service - just doing what they can to fill orders as quickly as possible.

The original flavored bread shop needs to change its service method, customers are always cursed at and cursed at. There is a saying: Please the guests who come, please the guests who leave. Customers who bought it wasted money and were scolded. I wonder if the shop owner can solve it? Thank you very much, waiting for good news from the shop owner.
