I gave this place a 3/5 because I honestly was not a big fan of the broth. Usually when I get ramen, the broth is supposed to be the main component of the dish, and at Isshin, for me it was quite bland and actually really salty. The service was great though and the atmosphere itself is nice, but I personally did not go crazy for the ramen.

I had the black garlic ramen and it was very flavourful. They also have a kids ramen for the little ones. Service was quick and helpful. We will be back.

Chicken karage - a little disappointing, hard crunch rather than crispy

Tsukemen - noodle texture and cha shu was good, dipping soup was quite different than the ones i've had in Japan, too watery and not flavorful enough

No actual physical menu for elderly to place order is an inconvenience.

Have to review menu online scanning qr code, then placing order with waiters
...

If allowing qr code ordering would be even better.

If you ever had tsukemen in Japan, then you'd know this is very authentic. The broth, the noodles. Impeccable!

Good Ramen and broth. We tried the Roasted Garlic Ramen, Red Dragon Ramen which is very spicy, and the Karaage Rice bowl. The water tasted stale and service can be better.

The ramen was rather mediocre, with only half an egg and an excessive amount of salt. Despite the good service, I was the only customer during the busy lunch hours.

I wish I lived closer so I could go to this place every day. I got the roasted garlic shoyu and it was so delicious. The broth was to die for. My partner got the Tsukemen (the dip ramen) and he ate it before I could take a picture but it was also very flavourful and authentic. We got the mini mango dessert which was enough to share and the perfect way to end the meal. The service and atmosphere were great - I definitely recommend this place.

Good but overpriced. $25 for a bowl but they only give you 2 really thin pieces of pork and half an egg

I got a large don bowl for lunch. I know they are known for the ramen but I was craving rice. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the bowl at all - the meat on it was way too salty and the bowl in general lacked flavour. The meat was also cold! Not sure if it is suppose to be like that. Was pricier than usual ramen places too. Service was okay - felt kinda rushed. Washrooms were nice. Perhaps I made a mistake getting a rice bowl instead of ramen

Big portion and server explained what options we have and ensure we know what we are expecting. Too bad we were full after the ramen and didn't have room to try the shaved ice.
