Good blend of coffee especially for 'machined coffee'.

Be very careful before signing up with Saint Jimmy’s Coffee. When I tried to terminate my contract due to low sales, I was hit with unexpected hidden fees. They charge $400 just to pick up their own rental equipment, and on top of that, you are required to pay for all unopened boxes of supplies, even if you never used them.

The sales pitch doesn’t make these penalties clear upfront, and it feels like you’re locked in no matter what. If your business situation changes or you simply want out, you’ll be stuck paying heavy costs. I strongly recommend reading the fine print carefully before committing — or consider other suppliers who are more transparent and flexible.

Billie joe armstrong provided great service and I provided him a tip of 409$ for his coffeemaker skills.

Gotta say, Billie Joe was an excellent staff member… The coffee really brings that punk spirit out and we wont be the waiting much longer! Really gotta give people a warning before drinking this as it’ll make you feel like you’ll get 409 iq from the coffeemaker. I can’t wait for when I come around next to make my brain stew in the end.

The best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. Chocolaty and creamy.

Fav spot in Kenso to take class online. Fav dark roast around and the most pleasant baristas you could think of. Reliable internet and a clutter-less vintage aesthetic for mental clarity and chill energy.

Dear Jimmy, I LOVE UR COFFEE ??. I ordered an iced americano with 2.5 shots, half almond, half goat milk and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It was so good I literally just pooed my pants (literally). The concoction is so magical, the flavours a maelstrom of beauty, bringing tears to my eyes each time I think of my experience drinking it. Those goats worked so hard for that milk and I will always be in debt to this amazing opportunity of Jimmy’s coffee that they’ve granted me. Amen

Good chain of indie coffee shops. Busy. Great coffee. Plenty of space to sit: wifi and good music.

Jimmy’s Coffee on Baldwin Street is a bit like the Kensington Market neighbourhood it’s located in. That is to say a mix of quirky, trendy with a dash of great taste and decent value. Like many places in the market it’s a long narrow place. Past the counter area there are plenty of places to sit and some group conversation areas. The furnishings are an eclectic mix of mismatched couches and chairs, along with some old bookcases that easily predate the crowd around them. Past that is a large backyard patio with even more seating available for nice days. It’s partially shaded by some neighbouring old growth trees. Watch out for the birds though, they seem to really enjoy the assorted baked goods for sale. Finally for those who would prefer to people watch, there are two covered benches just outside the front entrance. There is a fair selection of coffee available, dark and medium roast drips, cappuccinos, espressos, and iced coffee and other cool drinks for warmer days. There is a small but good selection of baked goods, cookies, scones and muffins, all fresh. There are even a few gluten free options available. Worth noting is that cash is not accepted, payment via debit or credit card or phone app is all that is accepted. Service is friendly and prompt. I at first thought this was a single independent business. Later in the same day I walked by another Jimmy’s on McCaul Street. A quick chat with the Barista and I discovered it’s a small chain of about ten locations all in the downtown and west end of Toronto. This bodes well for a few other neighbourhood visits.

If you are here for a local cafe experience that beats Starbucks, you're at the right place. The coffee aroma fills the place, the interiod is beautiful with lots of antiques and books, people come here to chat or work on their laptops, and then there are foodies like me trying things out. Vegan options are limited. The prices are higher than Starbucks, but every dollar you spend here helps this local business stays afloat in these hard times.

I have a disability. I am considerate person. I don't deserve abuse from servers for no reason. Upon purchasing my beverage I was told by the punk behind the counter that didn't serve me to never come back. All I did was order a drink and pay for it. The other punk that did serve me was the least accommodating server I've ever experienced. Avoid Jimmy's unless you're a masochist, and enjoy emotional and psychological abuse.
