I ordered a Peppermint white hot chocolate but I got a Peppermint mocha I didn’t realize till I left because I didn’t sip on the drink yet . The cashier repeated my order as a white hot chocolate but I got a coffee which I didn’t want.

Lined up outside the store this morning trying to snag one of the Bearistas (pretty much impossible with the lack of merch), but shoutout who I think was the manager, she came outside offering water and coffee to everyone waiting. Such a kind gesture and great service.

I was lining up for this holiday collection for the barista bear cup. Terrible experience, customer service and overall representation of this brand by its own workers. I was in line with about 5 people when one south asian lady in particular was first and she was a worker that at same store. She proceeds to allow her fellow co-worker who comes later to cut in line in front of her to put everyone else one spot down. This cutting co-worker had glasses, overweight build, and of caucasian or european ethnicity. Highly disappointed by the way staff act. Very greedy, dishonest and inconsiderate to actual consumers. The manager was trying to diffuse or compare our situations saying these workers had worked since 1-2am. Then came early again for the drop but that doesn't change the fact that one cut in line and they're your workers. How about the people who have work early in the morning after lining up for this collection or worked overtime or late the previous night. The manager failed to diffuse the situation and offered her business card when all we wanted was the bear barista cup that all the workers bought out.

I came in a few days ago and was really disappointed with the service. My venti drink was only filled halfway, and when I asked about it, the barista said it was because I ordered light ice. I’ve ordered light ice plenty of times before and it’s always been filled to the top, so that excuse just doesn’t make sense. For the price I’m paying, I expect to get what I ordered. I won’t be coming back anytime soon, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to others!

Very low service. Waited over half an hour for 3 drinks.

I arrived 15 minutes before closing to get my daughter a steamed milk. The door was partially closed, but there were still customers inside. When I tried to go in, the employee stopped me and said they were closed, even though it was only 8:45 and their hours say 9 p.m. Moments later, another customer who is the same race as the employee came after me was let in without issue.

Very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning to this location. The Starbucks in the parking lot nearby is much friendlier and provides excellent service with a smile.

Some things are etched into the society.
It might have been a harmless miss but it was definitely conspicuous.

First of all the whole staff was taking a lot of time and it seemed they were all lost.

The line of customers were increasing at this time.

Now there were two brown customers and although I didn’t give much head but I noticed that this person who is taking the order although not rude would directly get on with the order, no greeting nothing.

And in front of me was a caucasian couple.

His face suddenly lit and the first thing he says is “Hi how is it going?”

I still didn’t give it much a bother although I noticed this, because you know these things are subjective and random

My turn came in.

Not only he told us to wait for some random thing and he was silent again. No greeting.
I gave it a couple of seconds you know because usually I would be asked or what not but nada

Then I initiated a “Hey How is it going?” To which he responded immediately taken aback a bit or maybe not.

Now mind you, even till here I have not thought much into this.

There was no oat milk so we didn’t order anything.

As we were leaving the people behind us were caucasians again and yet again voila he was like Hey and stuff, with a good greeting.

Now the facts are.

He was absolutely silent when his customers were of other ethnicities.

I don’t blame him.

Thanks to all the systemic racism in Canada an inner bias grows.

I don’t appreciate this and I am never going to take this because it’s not like I am paying less or I am getting a privilege here.

This was at around 8:30PM on Saturday September 27 in this location.

I just had to put this here for my peace of mind. I usually don’t call out on these things but in this case I was kind of shocked and I had to.

Because usually I have seen, if you are least bothered you are least bothered throughout not based on colour or faces!

I am fine with you being rude too but this is pathetic.
