First time trying Georgian food. And it was absolutely delicious. This place is tucked away on a quiet street and decided to give it a try after a random Google map search for something fun to try for lunch. We tried the dumpling, the boat shaped cheese bread (which has an egg mixed in) and ground lamb kebab. Flavours were great. Portions were large, we even had some to pack home. Would definitely come back and try other dishes.
Ordered adzarian kchachapuri, not even close to recipe. Sup chikhirtma was a little better.

I tried several Georgian classics:
Borscht Борщ $8.95 (reg)
Vegetarian beet broth with potato, cabbage, carrot, onion, celery, bell pepper and fresh herbs
Khinkali with pork and beef Хинкали со свининой и говядиной $10.95
Ajarsky Khachapuri Аджарские Хачапури $22.95
Traditional Georgian boat-shaped bread filled with melted cheese and topped with half-cooked egg, served hot
Cheburek with pork and beef Чебурек со свининой и говядиной $8.95
Half-moon shaped crispy fried pie made with extra thin dough and filled with juicy ground meat
Khinkali was my favourite dish here, you just hold the dumpling upside down to eat while sprinkling it with pepper. Cheburek is basically the same thing, but with a crispy shell. I wasn’t a fan of the khachapuri, as it’s way too rich and hearty and fatty for me. I see a lot of people ordering the grilled meats there, maybe I’lll try that next time. I have no other Georgian restaurant to compare this to, but the food is quite decent imo. Service was good, but wait times for food is a tad bit slow. They have a toy box for children.

We ordered khinkali and Greek salad. There were plenty yellow paper inside salad. It was hard to find cucumber and tomatoes in salad.(( The dough for the khangal was very thick. Like chewing gum.

Service perfect. Food quality satisfactory. Draniki (potato cakes) was overcooked to black. Soups and hinkalii were fine.

I had a fantastic dinner at Suliko, an authentic Georgian restaurant that truly delivers on flavor and hospitality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy charm that makes you feel like you’re experiencing a little piece of Georgia right here in Toronto.
I ordered the lamb shashlik with grilled vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious the lamb was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, while the vegetables were charred just right to bring out their natural sweetness. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a glass of Mukuzani red wine, which paired beautifully with the shashliik and showcased the richness of Georgian winemaking. Georgian wines are super famous and have so many different flavors from sweet to dry.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt both authentic and memorable. Suliko is a must visit for anyone looking to explore Georgian cuisine I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes hopefully soon.
