I liked the flavour but I had diarrhea right after the meal (bought takeout). I felt the tuna in the chirashi bowl was not fresh. Check the color in the photo. I'm not professional but it looks different with their photo...

Came here for the first time and the sushi is pretty good. Everything tasted super fresh.

Very overrated. Food was just meh. You have to like up and order your food, then tip and wait 20 min. Tiny restaurant, no real atmosphere, see o service, tables are dirty. And it seems like everyone is okay with this service. I'll never go back here.

Toro Toro Sushi is specialized in torched maki roll, with fancy names such as Emperor & Empress, Hidden Dragon, Fantacy, all full of flavors ( price ranged from $11 to $14, highly recommended). Their poke bowel is also good with fresh and yummy ingredients. The store is quite small, only about 10 tables for 2 people setting, very crowded especially when half of the store with people standing and waiting to take out. Not a great place to dine in. The service is ok, efficient, but seldom see smiles. I would recommend to take out some speciality rolls and poke bowel, not to dine in.

I ALWAYS bring Toro to all the potluck parties I go too. The presentation of the platters in a sleek black box is best to none in the city. Where most places will lack, i feel like Toro scores points in all aspects for me. It just always taste good it's been very consistent everytime I've ordered from them. Besides being super busy.. I have no real complaints.

It definitely looks nice and the fish is pretty fresh. Unfortunately for me all the rolls tasted pretty similar and basically every single roll has tempura bits. Too much tempura bits for me. By the end I was very sick of that flavor. Made it feel too heavy for me and it masks the flavor of the fish.

The torched sushi was quite good. I would consider coming back to try more of that when I'm in the area.

WARNING!!! This place gave me food poisoning a few months ago !! My friend went yesterday and got food poisoning as well. Something is very wrong with their fish and they should be investigated by a health inspector.

The pricing is definitely due to the quality of the fish which is spectacular. The spicy tuna roll was my least favourite, I’ve had better - the one here tasted weird because it had something to do with the sauce. As for the crouching tiger roll, it was super yummy I’d definitely get it again! From what we’ve been told, the platters are your best bet.

Above average sushi and everything, but the wait is way too long. I was told my order will be ready in 10-15mins, it turned out to be 35mins.

Very fresh fish in their sushi, and the fried chicken poke bowl was delicious. My only complaint would be the size of the rolls. Usually can’t eat two whole rolls for lunch.

Toro Toro has horrible customer service and I would advise anyone beware before giving this place business. Ordered on uber eats and delivery time stated half hour from when I placed the order. The restaurant kept delaying the order - called three separate times to ask why this was happening and they failed to give any reason. All they said was they would release the order to uber when they were done preparing. Over an hour and a half passed and my order had still not been assigned to deliver. I canceled the order as uber advised and the restaurant decided to charge me in full even after uber tried to request my money to be refunded. Greedy and inconsiderate experience.
